If I wasn't attempting to 100% Moody Clouds it'd be quite fun as I have experienced on my first playthrough where I was 100%ing.
I suppose you wouldn't have restarted your system if you were able to skip uncompleted levels? :P

No, I would still try to fix the problem, because if the game skipped levels I wouldn't be able to 100% it. On a much happier note, finally got 100% on the first level of Moody Clouds, which so happens to be only ONE of TWO Moskito levels in Moody Clouds. Anyway I'm happy now, cuz I beat the first level with 100%. Basically you gotta a get the highest score you can in the first half of the level, and the way to do that is repeatedly fire spit at everything until it's forced to cough up it's lums. (I don't think I'll ever get used to pronouncing Lums like Looms, so I'll just stick with Lums for dumb.)

On an offtopic and sad/happy note, for anyone who cares whatsoever, the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection has been pushed back to the 28th of June, but I've pre-ordered it. Yay.

Honestly I prefer to get the 3 main games for PS2 first, since they are much more cheaper nowadays. Later I might consider the HD game for PS3. Anyway...

Anybody pre-ordering the 3DS game?

I didn't care too much for 100%. I basically wanted all the electoons that didn't require a time attack and I wanted all the lum medals.

I too want all the electoons so I can take a nice walk in the Jungle world for a while and stop rushing through the levels and replay my favorite levels more slowly :)

Rayman Origins isn’t really conducive to nice walks. It’s too streamlined; it places too much emphasis on speed and momentum. Very different from the original game, where you could just wander off and lose yourself in the labyrinthine depths of the levels...

I always go slow on the Jibberish Jungle because you can't get lost at barely any levels. I only go slow in which I complete the entire game and get 100% done :D

Too unfortunately true. In a way, that is. The original Rayman had a mix of slow, medium and fast, and that made the slow segments very enjoyable, and the fast segments amazing, as you see all the colors zipping by you for that moment. In Origins, it works fine for being fast paced, but there's no place in the game that actually requires you to make small agile movements, and this there isn't nearly as much variety. Maybe if the screen was zoomed in a bit more at different parts in Origins this would have been possibie; it certainly was in a few of the clips from the 2010 trailer. I was actually disappointed to see how far the camera was zoomed out in the retail. I wanted to see Rayman in all his glory, not even more pixelated than in the original!

Its true.

Just try to compare the Rayman 1 maps with the Rayman Origins maps.

Rayman 1: More maze-structured, more zoomed camera.

Rayman Origins: Always linear, and few variety.

In fairness, Rayman 2 was rather linear like RO as opposed to R1's mazelike environment, bar a few exceptions, there was always one given path, and one way to get through.

Platinum'd? Well I did that equivalent thing that non-PS3 players do.

To be honest I was expecting more challenging trophies in Rayman Origins, like for example "Get all the Speed Trophies" or "Get all the Lum Medals in single-player".

Since Rayman Origins targets the younger generation, perhaps its achievements were set so the younger audience would have more ease in obtaining a platinum trophy.

*its

I doubt that, considering age usually has little to do with skill. It does in some cases, but there are many gamers that are just as good as some of us who are much younger.

If there was a Get all the Lum medals in single-player then if anyone would complete that then the trophy might be Gold.

It's funny how suddenly Spiraldoor changed Teensette's name to "Female Teensie" on the Wiki, when the nickname "Your Royal Teensetteness" makes it clear that her name is Teensette.
