I've been busy with exams recently but today I have a break.

Dildo Potter: Congratulations on your score in SBTC and on passing 800k. It's a real achievement and you've become a member of a very select club.

CC: I managed to reach the yellow gem on the trunk once so the combo continued. The gem itself didn't count in the combo, as the counter said 00000.

I do know about the strange glitches around the corners and edges outside the doctors office in DOTK. Now, can anyone make good use of them?

My first task, however, will be BOM. I'll have to pick up the 100 points. I don't remember, did you check out if the bonus points did carry over the limit, so we could get 101.499 points in this level?

Maybe I'll then look into LS although I'm not sure anything new can be found there.

so what you're saying is that you didn't perfect the matuvus combo by reaching the trunk in time, or was the one time you managed to reach the yellow gem when you last played fc? just curious.

i haven't managed to make any good use out of that glitch and i'm really not sure if it can help, but it would be quite cool and i just thought i'd bring it up so everyone can give it a shot.

yes, i did check if 101.499 is possible and unfortunately it didn't work. you might want to give it a shot on the xbox-version though, you never know..

I had quite some trouble learning the controls as I had never played it on PC before. This caused many mess ups on simple places like the first area in Clearleaf Forest.

The controls seemed a little odd. It's frustrating to see yourself failing to get trough the practices from the Fairy Council. Last time that happened was when I first played the game. Maybe I'll do a new run on the GameCube.

actually it's been quite a while since mandm tried to get from the wooden bridge at 0:16 to the two yellow gems on the trunk without the combo running out.
since then he only told us that he did indeed manage to get the matuvus in that room for 1250 combo points, which i failed to do. i'm still curious whether it works or not, since i never managed to reach the gem in time and for the moment i don't have any other ideas how to do it either (even though i'm admittedly not thinking that intensive about it )

There is a way you can get most of the yellow gems in one combo in FC part 2 the second room. And that is by working the area counter clockwise. Start with the gems over the trampolines, then continue with the ones on the ledge, fall down and get the ones on the mushroom and continue with the two gems on the pathway. Now the trick is to connect this combo with the first of the two gems on the tree trunk. If you get there on time you can continue the combo and get the Matuvu in a huge combo near the end.

It's so nearly possible to make this combo work, often you need just 0,01 extra second to get it right.

CC: I didn't use this big combo in my recent game. But when I'm in the right mood I'll try to make it work. It's worth more points.

well then i just have no idea how you got the matuvus in that room for 1250 points in combo.. guess i should give that combo another thought
