The first two were some of my favourite films when I was growing up. If they wanted to take the series in a different direction, I don’t see why they couldn’t go down the James Bond route: simply continue the original storyline with a new cast and creative team. The comics have been going for something like sixty years now, and they’ve never retold the origin story.

Spider-man was originally in the avengers, so this is them bringing the comic book styled character of spider-man a movie. They're gonna re-make Hulk as well to go with the new chacacter and then they're going to make a sequel to the avengers

I enjoyed the Avengers, how about you?
If you want a discussion, who's your favorite Avenger? Mine's Thor probably. He's fabulous.

An alien parasite which arrived on an asteroid fused itself to Spider-Man’s suit and exerted a corrupting influence on him, turning him into a dancing emo. His best friend tried to kill him in order to avenge his father, but ended up getting amnesia. Spider-Man got a new girlfriend but ended up with the old one again. Also, an escaped convict who semi-accidentally killed Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben ends up getting the ability to turn into sand, and the evil black suit ends up attaching itself to another photographer who worked for the Daily Bugle. There’s a big fight at the end and some of them die.

It’s a complete mess, but there’s a lot of entertaining and impressive stuff in there if you’re willing to sit through the nonsense.

You really should – it’s easily the best film of the last couple of years. My sister loved it even though she hadn’t seen any of the five preceding films.

It's better if you watch the other films of the characters first but yeah it was easily one of the best films I've ever seen.

It does not matter whether you are interested. Watching the film is necessary.

What? I can tell that you are attempting to make some kind of a joke here, but you are not doing a very good job of it.
