< just discovered how to make wine glasses sing... it took about ten minutes to figure out. Seriously, people just say to 'rub your wet finger along the brim,' yet no one mentions the fact that you have to fucking feel the resonant vibration of the water skidding along the glass for it to make the sound. It's such a simple feeling to describe, yet no one seems to bother when they explain how it works. If I hadn't stumbled upon it by fluke, it would have taken ages. It's not a skill, it's an extremely simple concept.
