I don't think so. o3o I think some people just like wearing the clothes. I could be wrong, though.

Re: Off Topic
MLII's definition of the difference between transvestites and transsexuals is 100% correct. Some men just like to wear women's cloathing and some women like to wear men's cloathing. They don't have to think or want to be the opposite gender to wear them; the two aren't a bundle. For instance, transsexuals male-to-female might still prefer to wear male clothing, and thus he would have nothing in common with transvestites.
It's usually associated with deriving pleasure, sometimes sexual pleasure from crossdressing, but that's more of a media thing and isn't a requirement to fit the actual definition.

Re: Off Topic
You've contributed as many posts to this argument as I have. Why do some people accuse me of 'arguing' every time I disagree with them? Why does everything have to be about my personal motives? Can't we just have a discussion without bringing my personality into it?MLII wrote:...Well somebody likes arguing.
Please try to address my points with logic rather than babbling on about whether you think my register is appropriate.MLII wrote:You present it as if you're mocking the statement. .3. It seems more like an attempt to, again, mock me more than anything else. I don't know if you're aware of this but most of your posts come across as if you're being very sarcastic and almost taunting the person you're speaking to
How is mentioning something approximately once every twelve months 'obsessive' behaviour – not to mention the fact that I was responding to directly related posts made by you on each occasion? You're being absolutely ridiculous. Please try to address my points rather than babbling on about whether the frequency with which I raise a related but ultimately unimportant issue is appropriate.MLII wrote:It's not that I don't want people to talk about it, it's that I don't want people obsessively bringing it up every time the subject's mentioned .3.
Your silliest complaint yet. Quotation marks simply indicate the use of words that are not my own, whose use I do not agree with, or which I do not want attributed to myself. Please try to address my points with logic etc.MLII wrote:And here we go again with the quotation marks. This is why I can't help thinking you're mocking me.
They have a somewhat higher chance of being genuine, but I'm still puzzled as to how these political beliefs became rooted in your mind at such a young age. I do not believe that children should be politicised.MLII wrote:Okay,. so maybe I'm more of a supporter than an activist. I didn't know the difference at the time and I have too much on my mind to remember to change it. .3. So that's eleven-year-olds, what about fourteen-year-olds? Are their political views more acceptable?
You made an unsubstantiated accusation that I hate gay people. That's highly insulting and way out of order; 'presumption' and 'slander' are perfectly apt. On further reflection, I think you may not have grasped the magnitude of what you said; I made some similarly ignorant posts when I was your age.MLII wrote:Excuse the language here but how fucking dare you. Presumtive and slanderous? I will admit that I have insulted you before, and told you to f off a few times, and I'm sorry. That's what happens when I'm angry. But don't start calling me names just because you give off the wrong impression of your beliefs on such things.
The impression you've inferred from my posts is nonsense, and since you are the only member to make such accusations it would seem that the problem is on your end rather than mine.MLII wrote:You think I don't know that? You give off the impression of being more inclined towards the latter. If I've got the wrong impression then fine, sorry. But it's the impression you've given me, so you may want to change that a little.
She had difficulty coming to terms with her son's homosexuality and she wants her daughter to be careful on the internet. I still do not see how you arrived at the conclusion that she hates gay people. If you think that her asking you to be careful around transsexuals is extreme, just wait until she finds out you've befriended a Sri Lankan paedophile!MLII wrote:When my brother came out to her she tried to convince him of his heterosexuality for about two weeks, stopped talking to him pretty much altogether for another month when that failed, is rather reluctant to let him hang out with/speak to any of his gay friends (but not his hetero ones), and doesn't want me talking to RayFan. At all. Has told me to be "careful" talking to her a few times and suggested aonce at the start that I should stay away from her. This is because she's transsexual. She has no problem with any other of you.

I don't think she can quite comprehend spiral enough to make any sort of judgement.

I'll give her a hand:

You just read them, didn't you? Isn't that fun enough?
Also, MLII, his posts don't come across as sarcastic at all - they're just quite formal in the way they're formulated, and I think that's because spiral likes formulating his posts intelligently; so do I and I don't come over sarcastic now do I?

spiraldoor wrote:Some people like to assert dominance over others to make themselves feel more powerful. The chain of thought that leads to bullying is easy to understand. The same cannot be said of arcade-wanking. Who knows what was going on in that stupid brain of his?
Alright, both arguments are fair. I understand where you were coming from now.spiraldoor wrote:Emphasis on 'physically disgusting'. I would not vomit if someone broke my arm, but I might if I got a stranger's jizz on my hand.

Re: Off Topic
No they aren't, spiral has shown complete negligence as to what goes on in a bully's mind when they are actually bullying. Call me liberal on this for the thousandth time, but probably only half or less of them do it for the sake of dominance. It's an entirely invalid analogy.Shrooblord wrote:Alright, both arguments are fair.

True as that may be, now I do understand his reasoning, which was the main thing I had a problem with. I still think like you do on this matter, but now I do understand both sides of the story.

Re: Off Topic
How am I supposed to know what goes on in a bully's mind when they are bullying? Do you know yourself? How? Is everyone without intimate knowledge of the psychology of more than half of the bully population 'negligent'? Who are you?RayFan9876 wrote:No they aren't, spiral has shown complete negligence as to what goes on in a bully's mind when they are actually bullying.
Why? What does that have to do with whether bullying is 'physically disgusting'? The only point I am interested in making is that the logic of bullying is easy to grasp and the logic of wanking on an arcade cabinet is not.RayFan986 wrote:Call me liberal on this for the thousandth time,
So I was correct about a large proportion of them anyway?RayFan9876 wrote:but probably only half or less of them do it for the sake of dominance.
This is silly. Maybe it will make more sense after I drink some tea.

Refer to one of the items on my 'interests' list on my profile.
I misread your post, missing the sentence between "the chain of thought that leads to bullying is easy to understand" and "who knows what's going on in that stupid brain," I originally thought the latter sentence was in reference to bullies.
Yes, quite silly indeed. I'll have some tea as well.

Delectable, though I'm more of a plain Jasmine tea kind of person.

The valeriana tea is the best one to calm down.

Heh, I don't even know what sort of political standing I have o3o -wants an opinion-
and omg tea
My family loves tea. o3o Except my dad, who drinks coffee. And beer.
Also I did have a large reply written to Spiral but now we're on the subject of tea I've decided not to post it and enjoy the tea instead ^___^ I also had a rather interested conversation with my mom (where she actually talked) and she reaffirmed her nonbigotry so while I still don't like her attitude I will admit that she probably isn't homphobic.
Also I have a pink wig now
