It's an official list brought by nintendo, of course it's trustworthy

You possibly didn't even read the article... Rayman Legends it's still on launch window, It's not like it was delayed until June of the next year.
I mean if RO had come out 2010, then RL had possibly came out 2011 and then we would get R4 now, or a bit later but not long.
I hope next year they release a third Ubiart Rayman game named Rayman Myths :bad: so you can learn to be patient. Whining for a 3d Rayman game here won't help, it just becomes annoying.
Delaying RO for 2011 so that RL would come now is still ok
Explain me with some drawings, some clay figures and a map how the hell does that make sense .__.
stupid Wii U exclusivity.
You know, I see you love to bash the game a lot, but you keep complaining about it's exclusivity, so I can't tell if you really hate the game because it's not the rayman game that you want or if you want it but you can't get it because it's only available on the polemic Wii U console.
But theres something else that i also dont get. Why everything always has to be released at holiday season? Is it a problem to release RL at summer for example. Would be at least a bit sooner.
Gamers and kids are more likely to buy games on holidays. Guess Why.

Nothing, but using an excessive amount is a bit unnecessary. Also, this forum has an EDIT button. The users (and moderators) would appreciate it if you used that to add something to your posts, as opposed to posting twice. Thanks.

Taking it out of context for my own pleasure.

And I have no problem with RL being delayed, it can only mean good things. I wasn't even going to get it that soon anyway Image

I must make this point clear... the Rayman Myths thing was just a joke. I see Rayman Legends as an improvement of Rayman Origins, but I think the concept should end (or at least take a break) when the game is released and the ports are made. If they don't turn back to 3d Rayman and keep overusing 2d Rayman, the concept would die, and eventually, the Ubiart Rayman series would become as lame as the NSMB series.

I don't think making plausible sense has anything to do with typing on your iPad.

And no, I updated it to CE3 over a year ago. August 12th 2011 to be precise.

Re: Rayman Legends

I knew this day would come soon. Ubisoft knew about the rumours about Murphy and made things clear:
Coming from Nintendo Power...

Nintendo Power talks Rayman Legends, says 'vast majority' is played as Rayman

Though Rayman Legends is intended for -and best enjoyed with- a bunch of friends sitting on the sofa, it does offer the option to play solo. In that case, you'll spend the vast majority of your time controlling Rayman or one of the other platforming heroes, and when you get to a section that requires Murfy's assistance, you'll temporarily switch to him while the AI takes the reins of your other character. We've yet to try this for ourselves, but the developers promise the AI will perform flawlessly to avoid frustration.
Also, some good new info was revealed:
-Murfy was partly created to have the Gamepad player feel they have presence.
-You can travel to any of the five worlds from the start.
-There's the first medieval world starting in a lush jungle leading into a trap filled castle.
-Olympus world has the level Swarmed and Dangerous, where dozens of shadow creatures chase you.
-Comedy plays a part in the game like the first. Ex: in the aforementioned level, an unwitting monster janitor is oblivious to his demise.
-Another Olympus level with Murfy shielding Rayman from lightning bolts and fireballs with a shield.
-Each world highlights a gameplay mechanic.
-Each world also has an unlockable character. Barbara is the character from the medieval world
-There is a Shaolin style training area to practice and take up basic tutorials as well as advanced challenges.
-In the magic beanstalk world a musical level called Orchestral Chaos has Rayman jumping around throned vines. Halfway though Rayman drops below the clouds to a torrential storm.
-Music stages started as an internal video showing hardcore players enjoying Rayman with Rock n' roll music playing. The level design was adjusted to fit the level over and over until they came together and produced the first musical level for E3.
-Levels with licensed music will be remixed with a Rayman flavor.
-Eye of the Tiger now has a flamenco feel with gibberish lyrics and a kazoo.
-There is a Hawaii luau version of Woo Hoo by 5, 6, 7, 8.
-Ancel describes the water world as so, "This world is going to feature a sort of Jules Verne-inspired environment, but the story will be more James Bond. There's a secret underwater base and you have to infiltrate it. So it's really about infiltration, which is a new theme for Rayman."
-Water world will be slower paced and have stealth elements. You'll have to stay in the shadows with the help of Murfy to avoid being zapped by the security systems. --You'll be in traps and electrified in water, climbing in dark air vents and so on instead of the usual place with new fish.
-Origins was originally on the Wii U when they thought the Wii U would come out earlier. When Origins came out, they thought about creating something unique instead for the Wii U.
-Ancel points out how the Gamepad screen's response time is 1/60 of a second
-They wanted to improve the basics from Origins. Origins was all action speed, and intense moments, while Legends has times when you can pause and explore.
-The new artstyle with it's rim lights, dynamic fog, etc. help make the playing field stand out from the background. This was a slight problem in Origins that they wanted to remedy. It's not perfect, but it's a work in progress.
-There are little to no "breaks" in levels to make levels feel like a continuous experience. In Origins, every level had about 4-5 pages that were like individual rooms. --Now levels vary more in their size.
-There are no mosquito levels because the developers think there's enough variety with Murfy.

Hey that is some great news. I am especially interested in the "stealth" levels those sound like they can be frustrating fun. I'm also curios about each world having an unlockable character. Will it be just a skin or someone entirely different? Also will this game have some cutscenes and a more developed story than Origins? Anyway this game keeps getting me really excited for it!

Ok, so my opinions are:
-Murfy was partly created to have the Gamepad player feel they have presence.
LOL forever alone.
-You can travel to any of the five worlds from the start.
Sweet! so you are not forced to taste the same environment again and again.
-Comedy plays a part in the game like the first. Ex: in the aforementioned level, an unwitting monster janitor is oblivious to his demise.
Hope they have more cutscenes than Origins did. Like... 4 or 5 comedic cutscenes would make this game historic.
-Each world highlights a gameplay mechanic.
This could be good, if it's correctly done
-Each world also has an unlockable character. Barbara is the character from the medieval world
I supposed this would happen, however I would like to see some retro characters, I wouldn't like to play as Caesar, no more humans please.
-There is a Shaolin style training area to practice and take up basic tutorials as well as advanced challenges.
You don't know how awesome I feel about this. First of all, it's a god damn Shaolin training area, that makes it insta-awesome. Also, knowing that this area has the "basic tutorials" makes clear that we'll get all of the abilities from Origins from the beginning, yay! no more scattered powers :mryellow: and finally, advanced challenges, makes me think that this area would work as a replacement to the tricky treasure levels.
-Levels with licensed music will be remixed with a Rayman flavor.
By Rayman flavor I assume they're talking about kazoos, singing lums, jew harps and gibberish.
-Eye of the Tiger now has a flamenco feel with gibberish lyrics and a kazoo.
-There is a Hawaii luau version of Woo Hoo by 5, 6, 7, 8.
Sweet semen of baby jesus... Image
-They wanted to improve the basics from Origins. Origins was all action speed, and intense moments, while Legends has times when you can pause and explore.
I know someone who was complaining a lot about that Image
-There are little to no "breaks" in levels to make levels feel like a continuous experience. In Origins, every level had about 4-5 pages that were like individual rooms. --Now levels vary more in their size.
No more Darkdoors? thank god.
-There are no mosquito levels because the developers think there's enough variety with Murfy.
Nailed it.

That's great news, especially that you can pause and explore sometimes. Also, Shaolin-styled area = win.
Also, didn't I guess earlier that Barbara was a character from the medieval world that would join the party? Looks like I was right.
I like the description of the water level - hopefully it'll be as good as it sounds.
