Haruka i must ask you about this, but does the GOG version really work and has no glitches (including that cd missing glitch )? as it's almost Christmas and i may get it as a Christmas present.
Also i just got a dreamcast emulator to work so i played Rayman in the last couple of days. And i became a Best Player too. So i want to record a walkthrough but fraps slows down the emulator to 50%.

I tested it I am still playing with it Rayrob' : The GOG version of R2 is fine. No freaking glitch, no CD needs, and you can play with W7 64 bits like a boss. I love GOG for dis. I also bought the GOG version of R3 cuz' I'm still moving between my home and my flat so sometimes I forget to take my CDs fuck yeah.
Moreover the GOG version is not limited to one setup : you can download the game installer everywhere if you are on your account.

concretely, you can play on W7 64 bits with the R1 version of GOG. Try it with the original CD version
Other things like the CD bug of R2 are fixed.
Wuth my Original version non gog R1 works with Dosbox (with musics on w7) and Rayman 2 works easily no Cd error
@Rayrobi I do believe that people who experience constantly the Pirate Head Glitch with R2 even with the disc inserted, the GOG version is the antidote for your poison. I tested it in my Windows 7 Home Premium laptop that was poisoned with that and I never had the problem.
Concerning the FRAPS story, the emulator isn't emulating the game perfectly yet so its natural existing some lagging. Try to turn off all the background programs and leave just the NullDC and FRAPS on. In FRAPS try to configure the video capture as "60FPS" and "Half-Screen". See if that works.

It worked a bit better though it still runs only at 80%. Also would that make sense if i clean up 41 GB of data on Drive D:/ with 65 GB capacity?
Do you guys remember that message, that tells you the CD is missing, where a gigantic picture of a robo pirate's face pops out of nowhere? And from what I've read, the earliest copies had this bug where this happens in the beginning of The Top of the World, even if the CD is there. I seriously bet someone crapped their pants that day.
