Re: General Pokémon Thread
I agree with Rayfist: already a Gen 6?
That's why I'm saying that I'm getting late, I don't own yet a Gen 5 game!

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I feel so happy in my decision of NOT buying Black and White 2 for other games.
Because afterwards my sister let me have hers after completing it anyways.

In October 2013, Serza chooses a Froakie and nicknames it as Globox.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Ahah I might do.
I'm starting to warm up to Froakie but there's theories about it's evos being Water/Flying which is a type i'd rather avoid.
Of course i'd name it Globox if I choose it, or Uglette.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
The cotton thing is making people presuming it will be flying type?
It would be indeed problematic if Froakie gets hit by an electric attack. On the other hand, it would avoid any ground attack...

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Yeah people say it's clouds around him, personally I can see him being a Water/Poison type simply because it's a frog but then again there are 5th gen crocodiles that are ground/dark type.
Water/Flying isn't a bad type but having 4x weakness to grass (which would be the case for Water/Ground types) sounds better than 4x to electricity + 2x to rock.

Now where did I leave that drawing of Rayman and Quagsire....
Re: General Pokémon Thread
I can confirm there's a boom of fanart of Fennekin, people got crazy with the fire fox (no pun intended).
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Yeah, it's insane! I found out about the new games on Tumblr yesterday, refreshed once, my dash was full of fanarts the fire starter and a few grass and water starters too.Haruka wrote:I can confirm there's a boom of fanart of Fennekin, people got crazy with the fire fox (no pun intended).
I'll only make my final pick once we see the final evolutions. But I've never really been fond of grass starters with the sole exception of Snivy and this one is most definitely out.
Re: General Pokémon Thread
I agree, the green starter disappoints me. For now I will say Froakie but my final pick will be after watching the evolutions.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Is/Are the sequels to X and Y going to be Z or X^2/Y^2 or 2X/2Y?
Re: General Pokémon Thread
I like the Y but I think I'll pick X to be different. I sometimes alternate between legendaries I like and vice versa.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I like Y a lot more than X, and if I ever got a 3DS, and got the chance to get the 6th Gen games, I'd go for the one with Y.
