I wouldn't suggest throwing in a cent of unjust self-pity like that in response to someone losing someone close to them. In a different manner of phrasing, not knowing your grandfather means you just didn't know him, and you can't personally care about someone you've never met. You also don't have to go through the process of losing said family member.

I'd rather someone I never got to know die than have that person become my best friend and then die, for a hypothetical example.

No, no, the Mid Terms I have confidence for I'm just nervous is all, but it's not a huge downside, the depressive attacks I've had before I even knew Mid Terms were coming.
