I completed the demo. The boss part was really cool.

Yes. Some thousand times yes. That game gave me a lot of good memories - and introduced me to some amazing music.Bzzit wrote:Elite Beat Agents is my favourite, would love a sequel for 3DS.

Ah, that game is fun as fuck. The most prominent memory I have of it is when, in the top screen, a mother is holding a baby with a diaper that's about to burst.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Pokemon Heart Gold. It makes me wonder why I never tried this earlier after I beat Pearl.
I would love to see Sunshine or Luigi's Mansion return in HD. Sadly, neither game seems to have ever received the praise that they deserve, so I find it more likely that they'll mostly stick to N64 if they plan HD remakes in the future. At least we'll get the virtual console this summer, which I'm extremely excited for.
I actually like the concept of the missions. It keeps out moments where you just walk around trying to find where you have to go next, which is easy for this sort of game to have. It does do better in atmosphere, yes, but I suppose that's a matter of opinion, as Dark Moon has got a ton of detail, but I still prefer the darker mood of the original.JamesDNaux wrote:I actually prefer the old one because of the homely feeling it has. I'm not to fond on the mission structure they went with in Dark Moon, I'd much rather wander through the mansion and seamlessly do everything that needs to be done. Not to say I don't like the game, it's bloody brilliant! I'm glad they actually made a sequel, now I want to play the first one again. They should make an HD remake for the Wii U, I'd buy that day one as well.Keane wrote:Dark Moon is superior to the first game, which I didn't expect. I love the variety of every mission.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
It's different for each person, I like games where I can just wander around and figure out things myself, I don't even necessarily have to be accomplishing anything. I'd like to hope they port Dark Moon onto the Wii U, but I know the probability of that is really, really low. At the very least, being able to play the first one on the Wii U would be great, if not a remake, then maybe on Virtual Console. They did say Gamecube games would be on it right?Keane wrote: I actually like the concept of the missions. Re: What games are you currently playing?
I just got 106% on Crash The Wrath Of Cortex, I think I see why not many people liked this game, it truly isn't bad though, Crash levels we're very fun. I found the submarine levels to be quite boring though, otherwise I love this game because it feels like Crash Warped but with ps2 graphics. But this game truly had some flaws that prevented it from being a great Crash game. There were very few bland/boring levels, bad camera angles, that HORRID vehicle level, the ridiculous time requirements for the platinum relics which isn't even needed for 106% anyways. I think Wrath Of Cortex was a great game, but it's obvious it could have done better, I'd say my 4th favorite Crash game. I enjoyed playing as Coco very much, and I had a great time completing the game, I just wish it could have been better though, the ps1 crash games are certainly better, but Wrath Of Cortex certainly had it's great moments, and the gameplay and animations were really smooth, so it's obvious the game truly could have done better. Also I love how the game doesn't even congratulate you on fully completing the game, that's a dissapointment right there.

Currently playing R1 (back to sources hey
).
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Yes. It makes me wonder if this might be the reason that besides Pikmin, none of their big presentations were ported to the Wii?JamesDNaux wrote:They did say Gamecube games would be on it right?

I'm really annoyed at the fact the original Spyro and Crash trilogy aren't in the PSONE classics section for VITA in the US, but the Europeans get it.

You fellows across the pond did get Rayman Revolution, amongst other things.
Though I agree, unjustified region exclusivity sucks.

I heard that Sony is preparing a patent to allow the inclusion of trophies for PS1 and PS2 games in the PSN. It would be interesting to know if Ubisoft was aligning in that.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Trophies for Rayman 1 would be a good excuse to play through it again, though I wonder if they'd do something as evil as create a "not die" trophy for that one level.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
If that trophy worked like Rayman Origins, just play Pink Plant Woods.

Of course, there are more...unscrupulous methods of attaining a high amount of lives that counters the large amount of grinding one would be forced to partake in.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
So I just beat Dark Moon. I wasn't dissapointed in the slightest, though
-Mario being shoehorned into it at the end was a bit bollocks.-
The only thing I have left for 100% is getting three stars on all of the levels, bit of a pain, but I only have a handful left.
Gonna give the Scarescraper a go too, and to anyone that has the game

Got a star in all the single player and single/co-operative minigames of Nintendo Land. It is missing now the three multiplayer ones, but I'll save those for endings of May/beginnings of June.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Still been playing quite a bit of Super Street Fighter IV on the 3ds and starting to get the hang of new characters.
This game just reminds me why I love Street Fighter so much, I even think Street Fighter IV was a LOT better then III, I honestly don't know why people thought Street Fighter III was better, I find some of the characters (Hugo) to be very unbalanced when fought against others, the tactics are very tricky to learn as well. I can play Street Fighter IV on the hardest mode and sweep through it easily pulling off complex and great combos, don't get me wrong I loved Street Fighter III, and when you get past the learning curves it's VERY rewarding, I just find Street Fighter IV to be a much better, and well balanced game (despite the focus attacks, unless you don't use them often like me).

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Bioshock Infinite. This is a damn good shooter! It allows you to approach a gun fight in so many different ways, and it has one of the best AI partners I've ever seen. I love how it manages to be all big and cinematic without sacrificing the gameplay at all. One of the best FPS games I've ever played.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Chrono Trigger. This Dragon Tank Motherfucker Dickshit is making me rage.
