Re: Rayman Legends
I knew they had to be delaying for a good reason! Nice to know that the game will have a lot more to show for itself
Re: Rayman Legends
I'm also looking forward to both the online and the RL game. Looks like we need to wait an extra week or two.
Re: Rayman Legends
For a while, I thought the Challenge Mode was delayed till the release of the full game.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh my Polokus, thirty new entire levels?! That's quite great indeed! It's good to see they're making do with what's been given them. They could've easily resorted to mucking about in the office, slowly porting over the game bit by bit. Good job, Rayman Team! We need more dev studios like you.

Re: Rayman Legends
Some people won't be pleased even by this sort of addition, the only satiable outcome for them is if the game is released now.
Personally, it's nice to see the devs aren't twiddling their thumbs and are trying to make the game even better as a result of the unsightly delay.

Re: Rayman Legends
But hang on - how many were there supposed to be in the first place? Like 60, right? The game just got 150% more content. Why the hell would anyone disagree with 150% more game!

I don't ask, if they want to commit themselves to misery, then so be it.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh, so the game includes a demo too! that's good to hear
If they mean late April... that would mean the online game will be ready in the next two weeks.
Wait... if it is a demo with the challenge mode added to it... does that mean that it has a limit of uses?!

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh wow, I'm keeping my pre-order on this, I'll be patient, hopefully the presentation will be great. And a later delay I don't have a problem with, but I do want to play it soon :pSquiz wrote:And the Ubisoft Montpellier team will add 30 more levels and new bosses to the game ! Rayman Legends will be an awesome game i guess !

Re: Rayman Legends
Does anyone receive the Official Nintendo Magazine? The upcoming issue (#94) apparently explains the delay.

Re: Rayman Legends
Hm. A lot of people who were still dissatisfied with the challenge mode seem to react positively now, I mean, come on, 30 new levels and additional bosses, that's a good reason to delay a game. However, there are still some people who are still trying to boycott the game (just a few, so it doesn't matter at this point). They say that they don't believe Michel Ancel's lies, and that they know that those 30 levels are already in the game.
Well, I would find their point valid, if only Ubisoft didn't say in the original specs of the game that there would be only 60 levels (remember? the article were they said that the game will feature a flamenco version of Eye of the Tiger?). If there are 30 new levels, well heck, we have a great game with 90 levels. That's even bigger than New Super Mario Bros U if we count the challenge mode.

Re: Rayman Legends
People that are threatning with the boycott have no idea what are they saying. Like if it was going to solve the delay problem and giving Ubi the chance of doing more Rayman games. I'm sure most of them will end up regretting the boycott and not resisting the temptation of buying it when it comes out, unless they prefer to play LEGO City or leaving the Wii U catching dust.

Re: Rayman Legends
I am willing to sympathise with the reasonable people who have been affected by the delay, but not those who act like obligated brats.
Some may have other purchases that may seem more worthwhile in September, even with Montpellier trying to sweeten the delay by making Legend's even grander, and, fair enough, if their interests lie elsewhere at Legend's release, then fine.
But then there are those who will reject all of Montpellier's efforts to make it up to them, and rage and I dare say, embarrass the fandom with their childish behaviour, and it really irritates me.

Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah... it's just plain stupid. I understand some people who aren't going to buy it because they have other things to buy, because it still has a terrible release date, and that's completely understandable. But those who still say "QQ not buying this game anyways, I promised that I wouldn't buy it no matter what, Ubisoft betrayed us and they deserve to die, goodbye Rayman see you in hell" are completely retarded.
Re: Rayman Legends
Unless they really want one of the fewest good platforming franchises of nowadays to disappear for real, then they can go for it. If they are smart enough they'll release they are being retards. By the mouth, the fish dies.

Re: Rayman Legends
I find it crazy that the game is going to have around 90 levels. That's insanely long for a game of this sort. Hopefully the levels will be varied enough for it to stay interesting and fun all the way through.
Re: Rayman Legends
How many levels in total did Rayman Origins have? (I don't remember and I'm too lazy to count.
)
