Uh, solid colour will do. Just make the text black or white, whatever looks better.

I just made a new signature for myself, but I don't know how to upload it...Could anyone please tell me how to upload them?

I usually use the option [img] and a link to the picture that I stored on photobucket or on my FB account.

For the last one, I found out the quality of it has diminished a lot between the original one and this one. Even on FB it doesn't seem so "pixellised".

Create an account on a file storage website specialized in pictures like photobucket. The problem with uploaded files is that they are limited in size (128 kb if I remember well) and I don't see the same option as when you are creating a comment : you probably can't link files on the signature so you need to use a web adress where your picture is stored...
