Sonic Free Riders for the Kinect also. No no.
I own a kinect- I really dislike it.
But I guess it's a good dashboard navigator as you said...? Has no good games though at all.

Fuck Kinect games, it's a great piece of technology.

Sonic Free Riders I think is by far the WORST Kinect game. I think CAPCOM, of all the people, tried to make a kinect game. It just doesn't work for games, and oh my god, the E3 presentation with Kinectimals, probably the most cringeworthy (I've seriously been fond of that word) presentation I've seen in a long time.

Besides, the guy in the video has his Kinect set up completely wrong. He's way too close (you're supposed to be at least six feet or so away), and it's supposed to only be at about knee-waist level. He has it above his freaking head.

Odd... worked quite fine with me when I got pretty close towards it.
Don't think the Kinect is very fond of dem African Americans though, hahaha

That was only a problem in the beta showcase stage. It was fixed before the Kinect was released.

Did anyone really think the Kinect would be a necessary investment? The console works and it's pretty cool but the few good games of the XBox library don't work with body movement so that leaves it with generic motion games made by quick cash-in companies.. I'm not sure why Microsoft couldn't have figured that out.

I really wanna see what this "historic" Rare franchise Microsoft are supposedly gonna bring back and show at E3, I hope its Conker or Banjo but an apparent leak hints towards Killer Instinct.

Killer Instinct.

Microsoft doesn't give a damn about Banjo-Kazooie anymore. Even the creators of the series left Rare already. That includes the musician, Grant Kirkhope.

No it fucking wasn't. Kinect works fantastically, there are just no games that make remotely good use of it.
I agree, Kinect is an interesting device. Sadly, as a gamer, I couldn't be less interested on it.

Still had some good fun with Kinect Sports, but that's it.

Meh, I hate to see IPs just forgotten, ones with so much potential as a franchise and have a large fanbase basically begging for a new release , waving their money in the faces of publishers and are just stuck in Limbo by some company who does not give 2 shits about them. You have to give props to Sony for bringing back Sly Cooper after like 8 years, as well as Nintendo bringing back Kid Icarus after all that time the IP was dormant. I wish Crash Bancioot and Banjo would come back but they are owned by companies only interested in pumping out shooters and appealing to the casuals. I'm still optimistic for what games Microsoft will show at E3 though, lets hope for some variety in genres.

And I'm waiting to see if Ninty can pull one over Sony, a new Metroid title for instance would do nicely (ofc, Sony themselves could easily pull out a good Jak and Daxter, or something else, and tear me between the two of 'em. Damned exclusives).

She's reporting me that she took that photo yesterday night when that Phenomenon happened in Bucharest. I can't believe it!

How lightning storms can be so destructive and yet look rather awesome eludes me.

Do volcanoes, whirlpools, tornadoes and auroras elude you too?

You got me.
I'd love to see an aurora with my own eyes, I'd probably wouldn't want to see a tornado, whirlpool or an active volcano first hand.
As for lightning storms, I do get nervous when they occur, mind you, but as long as I'm in an area where I feel safe, I'm ok with them.

Oh man, I would kill a man to see an aurora, an active volcano, hell even a tornado maybe! But I would also kill a man NOT to see a whirlpool.

I've actually seen all of those. Thunderstorms happen sort of often here, Auroras here happen maybe once or twice a year, I excavated all through some Hawai'ian volcanoes which always erupt slightly at the end of the day, I once saw a tornado in the distance when I was in Edmonton, and when I flush my toilet I can see a whirlpool.
