Re: Rayman 1
I think there is a way to record off a 3DS's screen, I've seen some YouTubers that clearly aren't using a camera for their footage.
And RemoteJoy? Modded PSP too? If so, which model?

Re: Rayman 1
I'm thinking of buying a PSPGO just so I can mod it to play PSX games and snes games. If I do would you mind helping me with that? Might not be for a while though. :pMaster4lyf1 wrote:And it's capabilities when modded are of great use, I could record game footage off my PSP as a result of it.

Re: Rayman 1
It's most likely where people have had a capture device modded into their 3DSs (albeit for a hefty fee, like well over $200
)and then use an app on their PCs to do the capturing with it, if I had the money and time I'd have mine done but bleh...
Re: Rayman 1
On PSP, you can record only with program on PC. Hopefully same will be possible with 3DS when it gets custom firmware. I am dying to do 3DS Let's Play and play games from different region since I import 80% of my games for other consoles.

Re: Rayman 1
I tryed Rayman 1 on PS3. OK that's even more pixelated then in my laptop screen.
And the Gameplay still runs as slow as on the emulator on my PC

Re: Rayman 1
Compared to the PC version, Rayman is just in my eyes too slow. Hmm.. is PAL 60Hz or 50Hz?

Re: Rayman 1
That would explain also why I didn't consider the speed mine runs at as laggy, because I grew up on the PAL release.
Re: Rayman 1
PAL = 50 FPSemshomar wrote:Compared to the PC version, Rayman is just in my eyes too slow. Hmm.. is PAL 60Hz or 50Hz?
NTSC/NTSC-J = 60 FPS

Re: Rayman 1
Hm. In the PC version I have a free choice between 70hz, 60hz and 50hz. if i let it run on 50hz the gameplay just get slow. But on 60hz it runs 1:1 on the clock and 70hz laggs. That's why I believe why NTSC has the exact speed. Maybe the Playstation 3 just emulates PSX games? That would explain why no frameskipper starts.

Re: Rayman 1
An option for 70 hz? I'll presume that that's for CRT monitors, but I've never seen that option in my version of the game.
Re: Rayman 1
My friend has very expensive computer and his monitor can support 75 hz.Adsolution wrote:An option for 70 hz? I'll presume that that's for CRT monitors, but I've never seen that option in my version of the game.

Re: Rayman 1
Well yes, expensive 120 hz monitors exist, but whether or not you have a powerful computer is irrelevant, since CRT monitors...
these:

natively support 75 hz. I'm mainly surprised by the fact that apparently 'some' versions of Rayman 1 allow for that, since in my options menu, I can only choose between 50 and 60. Is it the PAL version by any chance?

Re: Rayman 1
In Rayman 1 the option MAX is 70hz. There's no option for Rayman Designer, BHF and 60L. Here it comes: BUUUUT if you put the parameter freq70 in the Batch file the game will start on 70hzAdsolution wrote:An option for 70 hz? Code: Select all
@echo off
RAYKIT.EXE VER=USA freq70-

Re: Rayman 1
Wut. I presume you're using the PAL version? Can someone check if their NTSC version has the option to run at 70 hz in the options menu? Mine certainly doesn't.
