yeah, this one, the main room in the tent, and teensies in trouble's updated version are my favorite in the game so far! also, about that icon, i don't know! maybe it is the updated version of the small icon in the corner from the challenges app. you know, the one that has your profile screen and what ever.Reiska wrote:I'm specially happy that music seems to be nicely varied.
This is one of my favourites, though the whole soundtrack is awesome: http://youtu.be/RTYb2CK3obI?t=5m20s
By the way, does anyone have any idea what the icon with suitcase does?

My uncle used to work at Nintendo! He gave me this sick cheat code that lets you play as Luigi in Super Mario 64, but I'm not supposed to tell anyone!Robotic Teensie wrote:You're right. Was he really hired just to look for bugs? I'd imagine that playtesters would mainly be used to determine whether the game is fun, easily understood, etc. Bug-hunting sounds more like a secondary task... the people at Ubisoft can hunt for bugs themselves too.
Oh well... I guess they use playtesters at multiple stages of the game's development. First they weed out all the bugs, then once they have decent levels they ask the testers what it's like.

You should sell that cheat code to someone, say... globolk... for a certain amount of tings.
Oh wait... globolk has a negative ting count atm

What I tell you isn't fake, you can believe me or not, it's your choice. Ubisoft sent a lot of mails to differents persons in France, for play the whole game in Ubisoft studios before it comes out, and I know someone that had this opportunity.
I wanted to tell this to you all because, with the interview of Emile Morel, it definitely confirms that the mecanical dragon isn't the final boss.

The problem with the internet is that for its filled with rumour mongers and misinformation, it would be foolish to approach information such as the one you shared without cynicism.

Wouldn't be much of a surprise then, would it?
I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ah yes, the DS version, where you could switch between Yoshi, Mario, Luigi and Wario, a much better remake I think, than Rayman DS was, they remodelled and upped some of the details didn't they? I remember Bowser looked much more Bowser-like compared to his 64 look.

Think that's a tad harsh, Rayfist, Sergio may have had the odd outburst, but I find he makes constructive posts.

Re: Rayman Legends
I agree. Why do people always argue that there MUST be a definitive version? What if all versions are equal? I am not saying sergiomonty is fanboy, but I see comments on YouTube with people fighting about versions.Rayfist wrote:Can you stop being such a fanboy with no rational thoughts what-so-ever?sergiomonty wrote:-So... that means the PS Vita version is not the definitive version? yay! no more whining from Wii U owners

I do apoligise, but I'm getting annoyed with the "WHY R US WII-U OWNERS GETTIN NO LUV?"Master wrote:Think that's a tad harsh, Rayfist.
It's getting really annoying. It's no lie that Sergio often makes great points, but he always has to burst that sudden moment as an unnecessary fanboy. As a wii-U owner (and someone who has been playing the RL challenge app nearly every day so far), the whole definitive version crap is getting tiring. I just feel a lot of us are getting spoiled, we got a FREE challenge app that will last UNTIL the game comes out.

^This.
I don't think it's harsh at all. His 'outbursts' of fanboyism aren't 'odd,' they've actually become a very common thig for him. Regardless of whether he exhibits them in small letters or in big red caps, taking up a whole post or only ten percent of one, it's still there, and there's really no reason to tolerate it whatsoever.Master wrote:Think that's a tad harsh, Rayfist, Sergio may have had the odd outburst, but I find he makes constructive posts.

Re: Rayman Legends
well, i can understand where you are coming from, yet i somewhat agree with sergio! i only own a wii u and ps3, so having another console version other then those i have definitive, would be just i little annoying. TO ME. because those are the only ones that i own! it sorta depends. also about the surprise, i think it might be like in some mario games, a stage based around a previous game in the franchise! maybe a rayman 1 candy chateau or band land level! or just a musical map with a track from origins or previous installments...

Re: Rayman Legends
Don't point at me with your finger, sir. I'm not a fanboy, I'm not even involved in that situation. I'm just worrying about the loss of sales that the angry Nintendo fans could generate after so many constant menaces. That includes, for example, AC Barbara. Can't believe there's people who care about that, but there are a few. As you know, I never thought about skipping this game, even if there's exclusive content in other consoles. That would be, as you say, irrational. IT'S FUCKING RAYMAN LEGENDS, like... my most anticipated game of the year. I don't even care if there's 30 additional levels exclusive to the Xbox 360/PS3 versions, that won't stop me from buying it for my Wii U because that's the console that I have.Rayfist wrote:Can you stop being such a fanboy with no rational thoughts what-so-ever?sergiomonty wrote:-So... that means the PS Vita version is not the definitive version? yay! no more whining from Wii U owners
For once try to understand this, please: saying "Nintendo fans aren't gonna like this news" isn't the same as saying "Damn, the game is ruined, Rayman is dead to me ".
Apologize accepted... despite the fact that you didn't get my point and just deliberately called me a fanboy. Sure, I remember overreacting when the delay was announced, but that was because of the delay, not because of the ports, I just wanted the dang game in my hands, not proving that the Wii U is the ultimate thingamajig.Rayfist wrote: I do apoligise.

You don't even realize it, you're practically pissed about the GOOD news that we're getting it for the Vita, and you even said...sergiomonty wrote:I'm not a fanboy
sergiomonty wrote:-Great... now the original Wii U experience has been downgraded thanks to the ports, probably like Rayman Origins when it was confirmed for Wii.
"Downgraded"? Really? How is it DOWNGRADED? IF anything it's upgraded, more consoles= better, and the Vita will offer a good way to play on the go.
If a game as awesome as this WILL lose sales because of the game not being console exclusive to the wii-U, than let it, because that's absolute bullshit if people get mad over such a trivial thing, if this is the case, the game will sell well on the other consoles.sergiomonty wrote:I'm just worrying about the loss of sales that the angry Nintendo fans could generate after so many constant menaces.
Bit out of the question, nonetheless that's good you're still willing to enjoy it, as well as I for the wii-Usergiomonty wrote:As you know, I never thought about skipping this game, even if there's exclusive content in other consoles. The way you were saying it certainly had that tone, with your red text filling up the whole page, you can say "It's a joke", but I'm sure you were speaking your mind to some extent, else I don't think you'd post that at all.sergiomonty wrote:For once try to understand this, please: saying "Nintendo fans aren't gonna like this news" isn't the same as saying "Damn, the game is ruined, Rayman is dead to me ".
Overall, I understand, and I do still think you act like a fanboy at times, but keep in mind, I THINK that because of ridiculous posts like this:
are making you look like a fanboy, saying it's DOWNGRADED now because of it being ported to other consoles, you can't fucking tell me that doesn't at all sound like a fanboy. In no way am I trying to be a dick, but really, accept the fact a lot of what you're saying is at LEAST making you look like a fanboy.sergiomonty wrote:Great... now the original Wii U experience has been downgraded thanks to the ports, probably like Rayman Origins when it was confirmed for Wii.

Okay, so as a few of you have pointed out, the mechanical dragon isn't the final boss. Sorry for bothering you.

A new look inside Ubisoft Montpellier! Everything looks quite cool. The UbiArt framework's level editor looks awesome as always, too.
I didn't notice any news in what they said, but was it just me or did the Mechanical Dragon have different (more epic) music?
I also noticed a golden fist powerup (I think) somewhere around 7:20.
