A hat in time can mean the new start for 3D Platformers. I really wish people appriciated 3D Platformers today like they did before.

Are you listening Miyamoto? the guy has been going backwards recently, seriously. Won't deny Super Mario 3D World looks gorgeous...
I mean, look at this: http://specials-images.forbes.com/image ... und=000000
but gameplay wise, and considering that Super Mario Galaxy was becoming too lineal already, he really seems to have dropped the collect-a-ton concept.

Recent Mario games have been decent because of good level design, visuals, etc, but it's not wrong to say both of the Super Mario 3D games are incredibly unoriginal and simply rehashing New Super Mario Bros. even more but in 3D. I think it may be a while before we see the Italian plumber return to star in a big, grand game like Galaxy.

The problem is that Miyamoto is afraid to do experiments with Mario and he is always taking the safe way and making something that was already proven in recent times to recive a positive feedback.

Unfortunately it doesn't, as you clearly didn't understand what the video was trying to convey. Combine that with a fairly closed mind (which I hope can change), and we've got a basic description of your post above.
OldClassicGamer wrote:Let's start from the beginning:
He is talking about music. I think that people are allowed to call certin group Classic if they enjoyed listening it when they were really young.
I think you misheard what he said; he was talking about people who listen to their 'new music' when they're young and call it a classic ten years later, when the music is only as old as they are. His whole undermining point was that music (and other pieces of entertainment) needs to age somewhat and have lived through countless trends that supersede it for it to rationally be considered a 'classic.'
OldClassicGamer wrote:He then says that car needs to be old 30 years to be called classic. While that is true, for music, I think that evert person can call some song classic if they have good memories with it.
That's called 'picking a favourite,' not analysing its factors and deeming it a 'classic.' Since I don't think you fully get what the word 'classic' actually means, here's Google's definition:
Google wrote:clas·sic
/ˈklasik/

Adjective
Judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind.

Noun
A work of art of recognized and established value.
The fact of the matter is, like said before, for something to be deemed a 'classic,' it needs to have withstood the lashing waves of new trends after a prolonged period of time, yet still remain tall and strong in the minds of all.
OldClassicGamer wrote:While I can be ok with his view on music I really started to dislike video ( I did not gave it thumbs down, I simply just knew I was not liking it at all) is when he said that people in 20's cannot be nostalgic for things. Of course we can.
This was the only thing in the video that I disagreed with him on. I do, however, think that it won't be anything compared to the nostalgia you can feel when you're double or triple the age you are now.
OldClassicGamer wrote:Just because we do not have much responsibility, does not mean we cannot be nostalgic for things. And the reason that he gave was because " they did not have to care about sh*t." That is not the main factor why are people nostalgic.
Again, you've totally misinterpreted the point he was trying to get across, because you're taking everything he says far too literally. He's stating that you're feeling nostalgic for the things you didn't fully understand back then that filled you with a sense of wonder. Those particular things happened to make you feel a certain way, but that doesn't automatically mean that they are factually higher-quality entertainment. Quoting him: "You're feeling strongly nostalgic for the things because only back then did you have the time and space to enjoy them without a care in the world."
OldClassicGamer wrote:He cannot judge that Entertaiment was not better like it is a fact. It is his opinion, but for example, I like 90's products better then todays.
While taste is subjective, quality of entertainment I believe to be something much more objective, since it relies on just a few simple factors: a vision, integrity, knowledge, experience and execution. Sleaze and integrity have always coexisted in the entertainment department (realistically, everywhere), and while cultures may have changed in minor ways over the course of an extremely broad time span, human emotion is pretty consistent and unaffected by that; certain mindsets always exist, and unless biological evolution changes this, there will always be a fairly consistent ratio between good and bad entertainment.
OldClassicGamer wrote:Then he said that people in 20's cannot say that movies and music was better when they were younger and said that if they are now under 25 that they did not know Nirvana,
Actually, he said that it's unlikely for a kid who was born in the 90's to have any kind of an association or awareness of a band that died when they were four-years-old at the very most. You can like the band, but you were too late to be nostalgic for their live presence, as they were just before your time.
OldClassicGamer wrote:and insulted them by saying they listened to Sesame Street.
He wasn't insulting the show or anyone who watched it, where did you get the idea that he was? He was stating that things like Sesame Street are about the extent at which kids at the age of four are aware of, and they certainly wouldn't be aware of something completely outlandish and unrelated to them such as the frontman of an influential grunge band biting the dust. The only way this could be interpreted as insulting is if, for some reason, you believe he's claiming that four-year-olds should be aware of complicated and controversial world events, which really doesn't make very much sense.
OldClassicGamer wrote:Did he maybe thought about parents playing songs of let's use Nirvana as example. Kid even at early age knows if he likes what he is hearing or not so it is possible to be fan of Band even at age 4. I know I loved to listen to Helmut Lotti for example and X Japan. Finally a part where I agree with him. Those 6 months anniversaries and Reunions are annoying. Things like GameBoy are not forgotten but it still holds place to people's heart and just because it was not made in 90's does not mean that people born in 90's could not have it for example at age 7 and now when they are over 20 they like to remember good times they had with GameBoy, or anything else from 80's they liked. And the rule he said? Well, I was not born in late 90's but I was in 90's, but still?
All of this, once again, is based off of a complete misinterpretation of what the guy is saying. His complaint was about how many 'nostalgicgasmers' are completely ignorant of what they're speaking of, such as them not even being aware that a product they loved as a child is still commonplace today, or that it may have actually been from the generation before. When people get so wrapped up in how 'good' their childhood was that they start making very poor mistakes and are speaking through personal preference and emotion rather than what's actually taking place (or did) in the real world, we have a problem.
OldClassicGamer wrote:I do miss childhood a lot and nothing for me will ever be better then 90's and early 2000's
That's completely up to you, actually. You've already set in stone, given your word to destiny that your mind will never be open enough to be able to experience with a pure, unbiased mind, the constant new wonders the world has to offer.

I'm sorry for the wall of text, but I'll make my post as big as it needs to be to get across what I want to get across in a coherent manner.

So does anyone here have Game & Wario now that it's out by any chance? I may miss out on it for a while over the summer.

TGACC is probably short for Ting Account, so it seems that he's assimilated the concept I told him about.

Double accounts for the sake of gaining tings aren't allowed, Ting Accounts are merely storage accounts, if you feel like you have too many tings, you can transfer them to the ting account, and take them back at a later date if you choose, Ting Accounts however, are not for posting, merely for Ting Storage.

Eh? Since when? Last I knew, they were perfectly A-OK with Hunchman, provided you didn't use them to gain yourself extra tings.

Okay, 'cause I knew you could have double accounts to post with too, not for ting gaining purposes. Those or pure ting storage like you have mentioned... unless Hunchman had changed things since, but okay, your revised post at least covers it better. :)
