Re: What games are you currently playing?
Guess what I got yesterday...
Project X Zone!
...And wow, so far I'm amazed, I'm usually not into these strategy type games but this game clearly proves inside me the whole time, part of me did like strategy games, the battle sequences are the best part though, though the battle sequences do admittedly play for you, because it is a strategy RPG, it still looks badass, the sequences and everything, the animations especially. And oh man, being a huge fan of Street Fighter, and Capcom games in general, it was pretty much heaven. Sadly few of the characters I didn't recognize, but not a whole lot. So far I'm on Chapter 11/40 (yes 40 chapters, ridiculous!) the game so far is actually a bit of a challenge, but I love it, I'll mostlikely give my full thoughts if I ever manage to beat it.

Please tell me does PXZ require some update because I have old 3DS firmware 4.5 and I must wait on that firmware or else I can say goodbye to future homebrew like Region Free.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Didn't make me update
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Awesome. So what is your current 3DS firmware? Just checking since if it is newer then 4.5 but still not latest one it is possible that that was reason why they did not ask you for update. But then again most of games force update because those firmware updates have something needed to run game. PXZ was released in Japan before so in theory new firmware update is not a must since Japanese version worked on much older firmware. But it is still possible that Nintendo wants to promote new firmware.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time right now. Still kinda used to VIII in how the characters appearances are. lol
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Playing Kid Icarus Uprising on 3DS.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
What a great game that is, it can take sometime to get used to the horribly outdated out of battle models, but once you get going the game is incredibleHoodcom wrote:I'm currently playing Final Fantasy VII for the first time right now. Kid Uprising is also cool, a sequel for Wii U later down the line would be awesome!
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Not only on Wii U. It should be on both 3DS and Wii U, and first game should be ported on Wii U. Heck Skylanders 1 got Ported on Wii U exclusivly in Japan. Mor info here:
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm playing FEAR 3. Not a bad FPS but not as good as the first FEAR game, in my opinion.

Looks like you were right Adsolution, Game and Wario is NOT good sadly.
It was met with a lot of poor reviews, looks like I'll be saving myself money.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I must admit it does not surprise me. I only played the original one for GBA, but honestly, I would never spend a fortune to play a compilation of microgames, and even less playing them that much often. The first game was shallow too.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
This one isn't microgames, remember? This one is now party games, maybe that's why it was met with poor reviews?
But yeah I agree, Warioware games shouldn't cost so much

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I actually think that the original game was phenomenal, and considerably one of the best GBA titles around. It was incredibly unique and fun for its time. Out of curiosity, when did you play it? If it was quite late, then I can understand your feelings toward it. I got it when it first came out, and couldn't stop playing it every day for months.Haruka wrote:I must admit it does not surprise me. She got it on her 3DS, playing GBA games on 3ds is kinda crappy in my opinion.

Ah yeah, that isn't any fun. You've got to play it on the Game Boy Advance.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
In all honesty I think the problem with Game and Wario is that they ditched the microgames. You know what we should have got? Warioware D.I.Y 2 for either the 3DS or Wii-U, Warioware D.I.Y. is hands down my favorite, so much endless possibilities, imagine a second one with more features and new abilities to make games, it was really fun.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'd rather see them try something new and mess up then simply shove another clone of the same game on the shelves. In the case of D.I.Y this worked, and this time not, but at least they are willing to give their series a nice breath of fresh air.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
D.I.Y was indeed new, and did work. The problem I had with D.I.Y though is the limitations, you could only make simple tapping games.
My idea, is that if they were able to make a sequel, they could add all kinds of new stuff to do in your games, scratch, rub, etc. and if on 3DS be able to make your objects 3d and stuff.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I indeed played it for the first time in my 3DS thanks to the Ambassador Promo, and the gameplay would feel better for sure in the GBA especially knowing how heavy the 3DS buttons feel. I liked the game itself and knowing the time it was made it was pretty unique, but I kinda reached Wario pretty fast and unlocked almost every microgame and then, I didn't find any other reason to keep playing it. I also tried out the multiplayer from Smooth Moves in Clara's house when I visited her last Summer, and I enjoyed, but she told me it was pitifull it was shallow. I believe all Wario's microgames suffer the same issue.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm really glad I didn't get the 3ds on launch, how much games you get from that ambassador program? 20? Well shit, that's quite a lot, but still, I don't regret not buying a 3ds on launch, but I may get an XL.
I hate to say this but I dislike the material used for the 3ds- it's shiny and glossy yes, but my god it gets scratches on it so easily, this is why I'm getting an XL.
