Indeed. British Columbia has some of the strictest driving laws and tests in the world, and even I had no problem passing my novice's test. There's always a reason why you fail and don't pass, and until you can actually pass something as fundamental, simple and easy as a road test, especially in a country like yours with tests thrice as lax as mine, you're a fucking accident waiting to happen.spiraldoor wrote:I hope you get caught and convicted for your reckless endangerment of innocent people's lives. Not to mention I must watch out for cops. So I only drive If I really have to.

By your logic then I wouldn't need to get a driving license legally either. I won't drive every day either. Your theory hasn't got any logic.OldClassicGamer wrote:Call me idiot if you want to and maybe I deserve it, but as I said I only drive when I have to and that is like 2 times in a month.
I know how to drive so nobody's saftey is in risk.
Many people know how to drive and yet you can see mortal accidents happening everyday and in every corner in the world. Nobody is 100% safe.
That's curious, I passed the Code Exam at first attempt. The one I failed was the real Driving Exam, and because of something I could have perfectly avoided if I looked more carefully to the floor. The Code Exam is equally important, you need to know the rules.Only thing why I don't have licence is because of Written Test I have to do which I can't pass.

So you know how to control the vehicle, but you don't know the traffic laws? I guess that makes it okay.OldClassicGamer wrote:I know how to drive so nobody's saftey is in risk. Only thing why I don't have licence is because of Written Test I have to do which I can't pass.

OCfuckingG, there is a reason you failed the exam! Why are you doing this
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I was nervous for the Code Exam too, but I tried to take advantage of the full time to reply the questions and think carefully before precipitating in the replies. I also read the entire test again after replying everything just to make sure I didn't mess up. I passed.

I actually failed twice before I passed, the first time horribly so.Haruka wrote:I definitely must not miss this one since I failed the first one...
Once you get the license, things should get much easier. Little mistakes won't matter as much, and you start to really get used to everything, at your own pace. It's all about experience.

Yeah I realise. My question was irrelevant to the previous one

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Your driving frequency or motive doesn't matter. If you're on the road, get a damn licence. I'm fully in support of people doing things without bullshit degrees and diplomas, but when it comes to something like driving where one stupid move in a tense situation can result in the potential death of many, the tests are supposed to be intuitive, as it is a self-learning process. Most of what happens on a written test is about traffic laws and what to do in a particular situation, and if you can't pass something like that, then you do not know enough about the road to drive carefree.
And what if you do get in a bad accident without a licence? You would have absolutely no excuse for it, and you'd be in jail for a very long time.

That's not a bright side, that's the "so?" side.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've probably driven more in the four months I've had my licence than you have in the past six years.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
My instructor says that driving the car isn't a problem for me, because I can definitely do that, but what I do need to tweak are small details that require attention and concentration. I have tendency for example to forget to look to the mirrors while I'm too busy looking everywhere at my sides and front glass, or to leave the car "fall" when trying to make it move after a stoppage, or not always noticing that I need to change a gear in the Gear Box. The exam was starting pretty well actually, I even passed through a difficult intersection where I had to wait 4 minutes until I could safely go to the direction I wanted. But my mistake in the driving exam was my illusion of driving in a road with two tracks for the same direction, while I was in a single one. There was someone unparking and I had people behind me, so my intuition was to change the track to my left, but when I notice I was actually stepping a stripped triangle...El Dango wrote: I actually failed twice before I passed, the first time horribly so.All I can tell you is to not give up.
