Re: How's the weather?
Nice to see you out and about, Son of Dark (I just realised that abbreviates to SoD).
The weather here is still disagreeable, but I'm making do, much more than I was when it all began, where I had a nice nosebleed for my trouble.

32º here and it's been so humid because of monsoon season eugh. Sporadic storms and high winds everywhere. Also haboobs.

Actually that was a typo, I was meant to to say "dropping", and I have no idea how it abbreviates to Son of Dark, explain?Master wrote:Nice to see you out and about, Son of Dark (I just realised that abbreviates to SoD).

No, your username "Son of Dark" abbreviates to S.o.D, I find that a little amusing, since sod is often used as an insult here.

This is one of the Teensy types you free in Rayman 3, I believe it is a Sylkin.

Indeed it is, in the intro of Rayman 3, you can see a group of them with Murphy attempting to herd a creature.

Well, I'm on the east coast. The south specificly. So the weather is scetchy at best. Particularly since it's hurricane season.

Aiaiai, max temperatures of 27 C, and somehow, I've got a sore throat and a cough, a most horrible combination, I really don't feel good.
Where's the rain when you need it!?

The rain is here when it's too cold unfortunately, how ironic...

Re: How's the weather?
It clouded up today and the temperature dropped by like 10 degrees C. Though it's likely to crawl back up again in the next few days.

How do you manage?
Cooler temperatures today, it's rather nice.

Re: How's the weather?
It's cooled down slightly to 27ºC during the daytime and roughly 21 overnight. I'm wondering what the climates are like for sleeping in a car though, I don't want to wake up (or not wake up) to the usual baked atmosphere of a vehicle that's been left to heat up for hours.

:'(
You have to find a bed inside your car?
If you store it in the shade, like under a tree, I've noticed it bakes a lot less than you'd expect it'd still do.
It was refreshingly cool yesterday evening and still cool today. There's a chance of thunderstorms though.

If that was meant poetically, then yes. If that was meant literally, then: I can sleep virtually anywhere comfortably, from hardwood floors to memory foam, in virtually any limp position, so actually getting to sleep won't be a problem at all.Shrooblord wrote:You have to find a bed inside your car?
Aye. After doing some research, the heat can apparently cause your body to shut down completely while asleep, as a car's internal temperature in the sun would heat up to nearly 60ºC in a 30º environment. The underground parking in the mall is open 24-hours, so that'll do excellently.Shrooblord wrote:If you store it in the shade, like under a tree, I've noticed it bakes a lot less than you'd expect it'd still do.

That's real shitty, dude - good luck. It's good though that you have such ease sleeping anywhere at all. I think I might be a little similar; I once slept on a hard-wood floor without any trouble.Adsolution wrote:If that was meant poetically, then yes. You say what now! It's good you looked that kind of stuff up; I never would've expected it to be that serious.
