What games are you currently playing?

It is released in Japan (Wii remakes) but as seperate games. Not like the whole trilogy.

Ah, yes, the New Play Control! Rereleases, not quite as wholesome as the trilogy, but available nonetheless, I guess.

What is differance between trilogy release and new play control release?
Is Trilogy upgraded somehow?

I'm not wholly sure actually, I know Trilogy comes with some nice physical bonuses, but I'm not sure about on disk content.

Trilogy is the whole prime trilogy on one wii disc with Metroid Prime 1 & 2 updated to have Metroid Prime 3's controls and also has some bonus features like an art book, The new play control release is the same thing, but rather than all 3 games on one disc, they were sold separately, at least prime was, I'm not sure about Echoes, it may not have seen a re-release in Japan at all.

I believe Echoes had a rerelease in Japan too, how's the Spider Guardian like in Trilogy? I hear it's easier since you've got the Spring Ball.

just checked, yea, Echoes was released in Japan as a new play control game.

As I said, I haven't actually beat it yet, in fact I haven't played much of trilogy at all because I've never really been in the mood or not had the time, talking about it now though I'll probably go and play them tomorrow.

Lately I've been playing three things, Earthbound on Wii-U, Psychonauts on Steam (big thanks to Oldclassicgamer for that!), and lastly Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, I truly can't get enough of Dead Rising, it's my favorite sandbox game.

I actually am thinking of doing my thoughts on Earthbound here once I finish it on Wii-U similar to how I did with Crash.

I just got back into Minecraft today. Tried to see if I could install a mod for the first time, but even though I followed the steps, nothing's changed. And I can't figure out what I might have missed.

In regards to the Prime trilogy, I have it. I must say, the improved controls on the first two games is an absolutely massive bonus. This is how the game was meant to be played!

It is expensive on eBay. If it was released in Japan, I could buy it for much cheaper since Japanese are always more reasonable with prices of rare games.

It's a shame Ninty discontinued production of it so soon, I know I'd leap at the opportunity should they ever decide to rerelease it, though given that the Wii is at its end, it seems extremely unlikely, as such, for the time being, I've gotten an ISO of the internet to play it, until I can get it proper.

Can you help me how can I play Triforce Arcade games on modded Wii?

Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 is playable on dolphin but GP 1 is not sadly so I must use Wii and that Triforce Arcade Emulator or however it is called is scaring me because from what i heared it can ruin GameCube compatibilitY.

My knowledge of Wii modding is pretty light, I'm afraid, I've yet to fully come to grips with the capabilities of it.

I love how people were able to mod the Wii due to an error in a Zelda game that could be exploited into hacking the system itself.

I hope some 3DS game will have similar error. One game actually does and hacker called neimod knows which one but wont tell. Rumors are that it is Mario Kart 7
