Rayman 3 scores

I just said it is missing to record the final level and the credits, because all the rest is done and online. The only problem I'm facing is inspiration (and time starts to get tight too) because the part 1 and part 2 are the toughest to do good combos with minor error, it isn't as easy as it looks. Only in part 1 you have a flood of Elite Hoodmongers and then you have Hoodstormers with Hecklers and yet a group of Slapdashes.

Pioufffff!!! +700K reached ! 8 years ago, it was impossible for me! My max was 650k

I can't try BOM again. In part 3, I never succeed to take the green gem for 9.000 points.

Razoff Glitch is very funny to play, I never tried that before, but it's quite boring... Razoff Double Glitch works every 15 times, and "simple" Glitch every 5 times (average). I never succed the Razoff Triple Glitch...

I can only manage to shoot him twice, but no way i can hit him thrice or four times. I also couldn't collect the green gem for 9000 points.
Also, i guess i will go back to play and score more points so i can gain a few extra tings.

Anyways, now that i can use my PS3 controller on PC, i will play with that so it will be easier for me.

Hello guys and gals, im new to this forum and I have a good question about the scores. Have the maximum amount of points been reached yet? I have played this game back in 2002 or 2003 not sure and I was #25 on the ranking with around 640k~ if I remember well, I was 12 years old by that time. Now 10 years later I want to play again and beat some guys in the ranking.

Welcome to the forum! Anyway, MandM - who is the top R3 player - once said that it is possible for him to earn about 1000 more points ( he already has 858001 ), so it seems even he didn't reach the overall maximum. It's about 859000 points.

Wow that is pretty close... I guess the limit may be even higher with a lot of imagination and tricks, but from what I have seen there are some levels which have been maxed out which kills my motivation a little, but who knows, I will try increasing score from scratch.

It can be very annoying to get good scores from certain levels so good luck. Try to get to a score one at a time.

I have been trying to perform most of the "complicated" combos and it's much harder than I though... What bothers me the most are the piggybank launch glitch and all other jump glitches you need to do to reach some places, mainly because you need a lot of patience and I feel like bug abusing. Also not being able to skip cinematic scenes is even worse xD. Been playing for a week now, I have 541k ! Not bad I guess, next step -> 600k ^^

I just found a minor bug/glitch in the last level of CF (The disco level) and im not sure if anyone has ever noticed this, but there is a part in this level in which after taking a row of gems, mostly yellow, if you fall after this row when you get back to the track there are another 2 extra gems available in the same row and finally if you fall a last time there is 1 extra gem in that row.

That makes a total of 3 extra yellow gems, that isn't much but it's free. I noticed it two times in diferent playthrough so it should always happen I guess.

I've been increasing the score slowly but there it is: 610k!

This is my score on each level:

FC: 27.280
Forest: 88.992
BOM: 70.836
TLOTLD: 104.709
DOTK: 99.433
TLS: 37.318
SBTC: 39.505
HH: 65.600
TOTL: 77.068

I just went through the forest, BOM, TOLTLD and DOTK. I dont really want to increase the score of those levels for a while, and it feels really nice to pull off some the hardest combos like the one in BOM part 2 (island combo) and part 3 (this one was big).

Any recomendation on which levels I should go next? Also I feel like im playing this a little too late as it seems like there isn't anything going on this thread anymore

It seems to me that either of the last three levels would be a good place to start. There are some big combos in SBTC that can improve your score dramatically. Try to learn one or two of them and replay the level.

It's been a bit quiet around the scoring. When I get the time I'll revisit R3 and try to improve a little bit on my score.
