Not even once, the funny thing is that in Bongo Hills - which is one of the hardest level IMO - i didn't have to rerecord because i didn't lose any health point. The level which i had to rerecord most was Allegro presto, because in part 2, it is incredibly hard to jump perfectly beyond the pit with wrong notes, just after you slide down the first slope.
I'm currently at Mr. Stone's peaks, having completed 8 levels so far.

Mah boi, take the Triforce of Skill to protect you - if I'm not back without a re-record, get help! This skill is what all true Harukas strive for!

True! But this one, on the other hand, is useless and homoerotic! :D

Thanks for the compliment! I wasn't really focusing on conserving HP, but more on finishing the walkthrough quickly (two sittings), finding all the cages, and available 1ups and powerups, and just not dying in general. I was also hoping to improve upon metalgamester's walkthrough, which seemed more like a "Let's Play" to me than anything else. :P

It's cool how you don't lose any HP, and still manage to get through the levels quickly. I don't think even Haruka can do that. Are you aiming for 99 lives, because I notice that you're not trying to collect very many 1ups?

Also (long post, sorry), how does everyone get the game running so smoothly in VBA? Are you using a real BIOS image or something?

Thanks, howewer i'm not aiming for 99 lives, and i only collect 1ups when they are easy to get and are not placed in dangerous places. ( i think i've even mentioned this in the description of Pink Plant Woods ).
As for VBA, i once downloaded Rayman Advance with the emulator from Brothersoft, and the only thing i did was to extract the emulator.exe and the rom and nothing else ( i dunno if there was any other file though ). :P But anyway, you can change the render method, that might help ( Options - Video - Render method ). I'm using direct3D.

Also, i'm done with Eraser plains ( the level itself ), i still have to record the boss fight, which is a real pain. Good thing there are savestates, or else Mr Stone's Peaks would have taken 2 or 3 hours away from my life ( it still took me 75 minutes to complete that fucking level ). :D

Let's see what she thinks about it. Or i should say she can do it, but not in every level - as for what i see in her walkthroughs.

To be honest I never attempted to do a no-deaths walkthrough in Rayman Advance. To tell the truth, I only finished the GBA version 100% once and I had around 64 lives when I reached Mr. Dark.

CHEATER!!!!!!!! :pascontent:

Just kidding lol. It is very hard to make the levels without losing lives, let alone HP. I didn't use savestates, and it took two REALLY FUCKING LONG sittings to finish my walkthrough. :P

To be honest, i've done the hardest levels without savestates, like Eat at Joe's ( except for the last part ) Eraser Plains or Space Mama's crater ( both until the boss fight ). The only level in which i needed to do savestates was Pencil Pentathlon, howewer i never used one during any phase of any level, only BEFORE phases. Even though it's hard to complete each fucking phase without losing health points, the fact that there are 3 or 4 phases in a level is another challange.

Anyways, i'm completely done with the walkthrough, the only thing left is to export and upload them!

Why don't you choose your channel username? When I go to your channel it does not have good channel url. Less people will find you. Just bunch of letters and numbers. Really hard to find.
