Re: Cartoon Shows
Tales of Ba Sing Se, ordinary, but blimey, it certainly is a heartfelt and rather emotional episode for its simplicity.
Re: Cartoon Shows
I think Nightmares and hallucinations was cool particularely the scene when Appa Fights Momo it was hilarious

Re: Cartoon Shows
Are we not going to speak of Ren & Stimpy, because I find that the show deserves a load of acknowledgement and praise considering the fact that it had great characters, plots, moments, close-ups, and then there's the fact that it paved the way for later shows that otherwise may have never existed, or at least with the ideas it borrowed from the show.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Ren & Stimpy is awesome indeed. A kind of cartoon that I miss today.
I've almost finished up the first seasons of Avatar. Brilliant show really. I'm really picky when it comes to cartoons but it took only one episode to instantly make me want to watch more.

Keane, I am thoroughly convinced that we are the same individual from parallel universes who are somehow communicating with our other selves via the Internet which may actually be a form of contacting individuals of other universes, as we have so much in common!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!11 Hell, we were even both hooked on Avatar after viewing only one episode.
Anyways, I have a video of animation perfection to share with all of you. Bow down to the awesome.
Bask in the glory that is that episode.

I love Ren & Stimpy! One one my all time favorites. And that is my favorite scene!
Re: Cartoon Shows
Hm, I heared a lot about it but never watched it. I must check it out as well.SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:For anybody who watches Toonami, FLCL airs tonight.
I haven't seen the show, but I hear it's bat-shit insane.
@Master
And, because of posts like this, I thought it would be better idea to merge Cartoons and Anime topic into one Master. People seem to have issue finding the right topic so they end up posting Anime thoughts in Cartoon instead of Anime topic (which I am not surprised because first time here I even had issues to find Anime topic and I thought it did not exist). I dunno why, but it irritates me so much when people post Anime thoughts in Cartoon topic. Kinda how you get irritated by incorrect spelling.
Of course it's up to you Master do you want to merge it or not but I was just expressing my reasons why I think it should be.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Never watched Ren & Stimpy but I have knowledge that it used to pass in Portugal in the first years of the now extinct Locomotion channel.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Ren & Stimpy is awesome. I remember watching it very much on TV.
Re: Cartoon Shows
I've been watching some Sideshow Bob episodes of the Simpsons. I forgot how much I love them.

It was more of a moral than a joke.

Maybe it's a bit of both.Bradandez wrote:It was more of a moral than a joke.

I don't see how it can be both.

Re: Cartoon Shows
The "don't feed the troll" seemed like a punch line to me. But it is actually a very good moral.
Re: Cartoon Shows
I see your point. Though I still believe it's more of a moral than a joke. Granted it is a phrase used a lot but I don't think it was really intended for a joking manner.

Re: Cartoon Shows
I guessing as someone who's been on the internet for quite while, hearing the phrase "don't feed the troll" in a cartoon that I thought the people making it probably had no idea what a "troll" is. Made me laugh, but I can see where your coming from as well.Bradandez wrote:I see your point. Though I still believe it's more of a moral than a joke.
