Re: Rayman 3
@Zepto, the way the Game Over just popped in there as Reflux arose made it seem like a bad ending, that was pretty hilarious timing. And it fades to black as Reflux roars, towering over Rayman, his final fate, uncertain.

Haha don't you find that though? When he charges, to shoot that thing on his back is super hard, and if you get the angle wrong he'll take you down!ZeptoRay wrote:Not really, you just gotta get used to the controls, its supposed to be hard, not easy, its the last boss after all, so harder control it is for this.

That's one alternate ending that you don't expect to appear.Master wrote:@Zepto, the way the Game Over just popped in there as Reflux arose made it seem like a bad ending, that was pretty hilarious timing. And it fades to black as Reflux roars, towering over Rayman, his final fate, uncertain.
Uh, not really, he just need to be hit once by a single green bullet thing and he is like " OH SHIT THAT HURT AAUURRG I MUST RECHARGE LIFE! *Freezes self*".rolesfamily wrote:

Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, it takes just one but getting the angle right is a total pain in the ass! Took me so many goes, I wasn't even convinced I was going to be even able to finish!ZeptoRay wrote:That's one alternate ending that you don't expect to appear.Master wrote:@Zepto, the way the Game Over just popped in there as Reflux arose made it seem like a bad ending, that was pretty hilarious timing. pff. These zombies freaked me totally out but I wanted to complete the game and not wait on it to get those zombies removed by itself.ZeptoRay wrote:Hope you didn't pussied out like I did in the Desert of the Knaarens, I got to meet the chicken ghost then closed my TV and xbox and didn't play it for 6 months.
Re: Rayman 3
Hehe I remember I'd only play the first section of the Desert of the Knaaren and then quickly quit as soon as the Knaaren appeared. It always bothered me because I often didn't play the game for a long while because I was too scared but on the other hands it's now one of my most memorable moments in a game. Getting to the final section with the Hoodlums gave me one of the most relieving feelings I've ever had.
Re: Rayman 3
I used to be scared by things easily back then. Though the other day the music of the chicken ghost didn't play and it was even more creepier, jesus christ.
The knaarens never scared me though.

Re: Rayman 3
I was scared of the Knaarens as a kid. The thought of something chasing you has always scared me. Though I will say, if I grew up with Rayman 2, the Knaarens would of been NOTHING compared to the chase scene in the Cave of Bad Dreams.ZeptoRay wrote:I used to be scared by things easily back then. Re: Rayman 3
That was never that scary the cave of bad dreams! The Knnarens were much worse IMO, especially the fact that you couldn't even get near them, and you're in these nasty tunnels .SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:I was scared of the Knaarens as a kid. Re: Rayman 3
I probably beat Reflux when I was about 10-ish, which is when I first got the game.
As for Rayman and scariness, Rayman eating Janos to an 8 year old has more effect than creepy invulnerable Knareen to a 10 year old.

Re: Rayman 3
To be honest I was never really all that scared of Jano. That might have been because I watched my brother play though.
The Knaarens especially scared me in The Great Hall. Even now I always have "Shit no" moment when I fall off the flying platforms.

Re: Rayman 3
At least you didn't get sandwiched between all of them to your death. Lol.
