The quiz (in which you ask the questions)

Post by Lum »

So, what's this topic?

This is the idea. Everyone can earn points. If I have one question right I get 1 point for example. It is simple: I ask a question, the person with the right answer asks a new question, than the person with the right answer asks a new question. If you don't want to ask a question you can pass it over to another person.

Questions don't need to be about knowledge. You can also use puzzles (intelligence questions) or you can ask to translate something.
You can also use pictures and ask, what is this? Make sure that people can't know it from the link or the name of the image, so make sure that it can be found back too easily.

I start with a question in this quiz, the person with the right answer get's 1 point. You can however also ask 3 points questions, which need to be difficult questions.
If a question isn't answered at all, or if it isn't answered correct in one day another person starts with a new question.

Please, give the category with your question, categories are:

- History
- Arts
- Mathematics
- Puzzle (your question is a puzzle or riddle, not about puzzles)
- Language
- Society
- Current events
- Rayman
- Sports
- Psychology
- Task (This category means that you can ask people to do something, like: look up 5 small places in the north of England)
- Geography/Topography
- Music
- Look it up (Google question, these questions are questions which you can find on Google, the purpose of asking them is because you can ask rather difficult things to be looked up and look who is the fastest to accomplish it.)
- Other

If your question doesn't fit a certain category, just use 'other', but don't try to use the same category too much.

Example question:
Category: History

1. Who ruled Italy in the 30s?

A. Berlusconi
B. Mussolini
C. Pivareti
The second question replaces the 1 with 2.

In this OP all the scores will be kept.

I don't have time to ask and answer a question right now, so I edited this post and removed my first question. If you know a question, ask the first question and wait for the right answer. Give 1 or 3 points if it's correct. Let the right answer ask a new question.

Couldn't people just Google the answers?

Oh you, it's A, I mean C, I mean B, of course! I think that constitutes as 'history' though, but an even more suitable category would be Music, which I'm not sure why doesn't exist. Perhaps Lum can add it in when he's back, if he likes.

Not if you go all-out:

Which of Bach's children went on to further improve the score of his Cantata No. 80, Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott after his passing?
  1. Wilhelm Friedemann
  2. Carl Philipp Emanuel
  3. Johann Christoph Friedrich

Depends on the question. You can also ask questions which are ment to be looked up, but make it a challenge to find the answer of.

Hm, this is an interesting idea indeed, I'm assuming it runs as a chain, get one right, ask the next, hm?

Yes, that's the idea. If everyone can ask a question the questions are more diverse and the chance is bigger that it doesn't stop at a moment because of one person who asks all the questions and get's bored.
