Re: Cartoon Shows
Hm, still got a few episodes of Season 5 to air yet, they had another break after "Root Beer Guy," I'm curious to see what this batch offers.

Re: Cartoon Shows
If us Brits still had Toonami, then I'd check that one out. Shame it isn't though.SegaNintendoUbisoft wrote:So, Space Dandy premiers on Toonami tonight, anyone excited for it?
We wouldn't mind a bit of [adult swim] love either, guys.
Also, after finishing Danny Phantom I decided to start up The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, from the very beginning. Little Rock of Horrors to this day remains one of the best episodes to ever come out of that show, next to Big Boogey Adventure, Jacked-Up Halloween and the Kids Next Door crossover.
The more of it I watch, the more it starts to come back to me that Billy & Mandy was pretty much my childhood. It was definitely the show that I'd seen the watched the most next to Spongebob (At least I think), and even then I can remember more about Billy and Mandy than I ever could about the good episodes of Spongebob Squarepants.
Seriously guys, if you haven't seen Billy & Mandy before (Or it's short-lived brilliantly fantastic sister show Evil Con Carne), then give it a look. It's so much more than just a kid's show.
Okay, gush over. I'll shut up now.
okay maybe i wont dont hurt me please
I also saw the Ed, Edd N' Eddy Grand Finale, Big Picture Show. On my birthday, in fact. God damn those feels. And I just love the way that show is animated, there's so much liveliness in each frame of that show.
Okay, I'll show up NOW.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Ooh, yes, Billy and Many - as well as Evil Con Carne - are both exceptionally excellent shows. I remember there was a time when Billy and Mandy had been my favorite show, actually. It's also living proof that TV networks should allow their viewers to select what shows should be green-lit more often. Also (more) proof that Cartoon Network kicks an infinite amount of assage.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Grim Adventures, remember that, dabbled in it and enjoyed it. Hm, currently, I'm gearing up for the next batch of Adventure Time and Wonder Over Yonder.

Re: Cartoon Shows
Same, though replace Wonder Over Yonder with Steven Universe. Not that Wonder Over Yonder is a bad show, it's a good one, but it takes time for me to truly fall in love with a show and it's finally happened with Steven Universe for me. Hmm, I wonder where GN is, actually.

Re: Cartoon Shows
to be honest its been hard for me to watch either one. Wander just doesn't have the type of humor/story elements to capture my attention for 25 minutes and Steven universe, well... I don't like it, along with uncle grandpa. I'm to busy catching up on older shows like Courage and Pokemon: gens 1 & 2. I also heard they are rebooting the Powerpuff Girls, and by the looks of it its going to be a shameless rip-off like teen titans go!Dark Lum Lord wrote:Same, though replace Wonder Over Yonder with Steven Universe. Re: Cartoon Shows
Steven Universe is so endearing to me for some reason. It's one of the very few shows that I fell in love with just from watching one episode. I think it's the atmosphere and/or the believable characters.

I really liked Steven Universe from what I saw of it. I also kind of like Uncle Grandpa, for some reason.

Re: Cartoon Shows
I watched Steven Universe for it's amazingly diverse set of characters and I certainly enjoyed the eps I managed to get to see on Youtube.

Re: Cartoon Shows
may start watching then, but the trailers and main character are repulsive when I see them. BTW Serza how are you changing your sig around like that?

Re: Cartoon Shows
I caught a glimpse of the pilot and it was eh. The real thing is certainly a pretty thing.
As for the sig thing I host it on a site called randimg.net where you upload different images into a "pile" and you get an image link for that whole pile.

Re: Cartoon Shows
So, Adventure Time and Steven Universe are back on, excellent indeed.
Apple Wedding is showing that PB is seemingly becoming more psychotic as the episodes go by, wonder if they're building up to something?

I've very low expectations for the upcoming Powerpuff Girls special. Why. Looks rather bland and cheesy from the commerical. Also, why CGI. Why.

I'll be watching it too, want to see if it's good or not.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Another great show will be turned into trash just like Teen TitansDark Lum Lord wrote:I've very low expectations for the upcoming Powerpuff Girls special. Why. Looks rather bland and cheesy from the commerical. Also, why CGI. Why.
The new design is terrible. Thank god it's only a special and not something with a lot of episodes. I'm not even gonna watch it

Re: Cartoon Shows
Never judge a book by its cover, OCG, or, in this case, tv show by its (rather short) trailer. At least give it a viewing to have your opinion justified.
Re: Cartoon Shows
Everything I disliked from start but still gave a chance in 90% of cases I still disliked it.
