EverDrives are too expensive for my taste. I think it would be cheaper just to get a very cheap N64 game, desolder the eeprom, program the rom into the eeprom with a programmer and put it all back together.

Well, then you won't get to play that ROM on console. ;)

Uhm, yes I would get to play the ROM on a real N64, but doing this all would harder than using a flash card. But kinda, I won't be able to pirate all N64 games games and put it on a flash card ;)

You said "someone should" put it on an actual cart, but I highly doubt they would do so, hence my post.

Star Road would likely require an expansion pack to function correctly on an N64, since extended ROMs decrypt the ROM information, which takes up more space in the RAM, and I'm assuming that EverDrive doesn't have one built-in. That would be awesome if it did though.

Expansion Paks are separate from the cartridges, though.

I know, nothing in my post implied otherwise. I was only mentioning that in case they were to get one of those and stick Star Road on it, they'd need an expansion pack. Cartridges have the ability to have upgrades implemented into them given that they run off chips (like the SuperFX), so I was saying that it would be great if this had one built-in, as I think that would make its price more reasonable.

Well. Obviously. You get, like, a Gameboy Advanced ROM and put it on a PSVita flashcard. Then stick that in your regular ol' Gameboy Colour cartridge slot and play away! It's the oldest pirating trick in the book - untraceable! Come on, you seriously didn't know this already? :confus:

question

how does one eat with newly-input braces

my mouth feels like it's being compressed

(it doesn't help that she put one of the squares in the wrong place ie under the line of my tooth so if i chew on that side it hits the metal before the tooth bit)

They hurt like a bitch for probably 3 days. Then they ease up a bit. You have to wait for the teeth to move. They're so damn sensitive, literally eating a fried egg on them hurts. Brush hurts. Everything hurts.

It'll be worth it in the end

I know your pain all too well. In time, the pain will subside, but try not to eat extremely solid foods to start with, the pain is excruciating. As time goes on, you'll be able to eat normal foods again, but try not to eat really solid foods like lollipops, or really sticky 'uns like toffee.

How long do you have to have them for?

From what I can fathom, you've just got them put in. Like we've said, we know your pain, I had my braces for three years!

Ah braces, they've been most of my childhood. It feels much stranger having them out after so long than getting them in.

It is something you do get used to though, I can't mind after how long mine stopped being irritating but it's no that long.

The pain comes back when they tighten them, but hey it is worth it in the long run.

As long as they don't end up getting damaged, blimey it's annoying when that happens. It's more annoying when it happens because the orthodontist didn't put it in right in the first place.

I broke one of my brackets off with my toothbrush once. It was bloody painful, so be careful!
