I should have placed my bets:

We beat the record right before 4 PM, which means that we could actually reach 150% of the previous record if we keep posting at the same rate. That's just below 30,000 posts! Usually, evenings are even more active that the rest of the day, but without Rayfist I'm not sure what to expect now.

It took us 43 minutes to post 1000 messages (between 35k to 36k), so given the time we have left, we could have approximately 29,350 posts by the end of record day.

That was the closest bet, pretty amazing.

But at least we do have next year to attempt 30k, which if anyone wants to beat this year's we'll have to at least come close.

I made 1337 posts for this record day.

Heh, I was aiming at that too, but decided to go on.

I decided to leave it at that number, since there was only a few minutes left, I wouldn't have gotten much more than that, so why not leave it at an epic number?
