What is this tragic backstory?

Once upon a time, there was a great Hoard. It loved Razorbeard and Razorbeard loved it. But then came poopie Rayman and he killed the Hoard's mommy and scattered it all over the world, where the RPC finally found it in pieces and used it to distribute among its members evenly like the communists they were, as long as the people let their voices be heard, that was the one rule. Then, one day, Shrooblord found the Hoard's chest and decided to keep it as his pet. The Hoard was hungry for Shrooblord's Tings and angry at how it was being treated, but it new that in time, it would gain enough Tings to exert its influence over Shrooblord.
At present, it has full control over the member's Ting amounts and can steal and give them back teasingly at a whim.
This is our story. We fight to beat the Hoard.
