They didn't even have my country on the list so I put UK. Only way I could receive Club Nintendo Stuff is if I registred at one of those UK sites that give you custom UK Address and then ship to you but that is expensive as hell :(
What the hell is Nintendo's problem? I mean I can somehow understand if Hulu and other stuff are restricted in some countries due to licence needs. But this is just a freaking shipping of item.
Ah well, I suppose I can get some items if I like from eBay. At least they treat every country equally.

My real problem with Nintendo UK Store/Club Nintendo not shipping to Ireland is that they don't have any excuse, since they ship to NORTHERN Ireland, just not the Republic of Ireland.

Like there is literally no excuse for that. That is on the same tiny land mass. That is an hour and a half drive away from me at least, two hours and a half at most. Plus they could always just give it to An Post, like every other online store does, who then deliver the goods to me. ShopTo, a UK based online store, ships to me just fine, so Nintendo UK Store/Club Nintendo have NO excuses, especially since they used to do it.

And there are no legal issues either, post can pass between NI and ROI just fine, as can any old person. It's not like we have something like the US-Mexican border to pass through.

Have you tried calling Nintendo and asking for reasons?

No. I haven't seen anything I wanted from Club Nintendo yet, and the one thing I would of bought from the Nintendo UK Store (the Smash Bros 3DS XL) is something I no longer need due to the announcement of the new 3DS models coming in 2015 (I'm willing to wait for them, no need to fork out money for an XL when I know I'm gonna want to get the new models in a year).

But if they give me problems with the Smash Bros soundtrack offer I'll call them then.

So I think I'm now sold on Hyrule Warriors now that I have enough money. I really can't help myself... I love the hack 'n slash genre for some reason and seeing that mixed with Zelda looks god-like. And the month after we get Bayonetta 2 and Smash Bros, so hyped.

Hyrule Warriors is the game I'm most looking forward to this year, not counting Smash Bros. I watched quite a bit of GameXplain's streams of the game. It looks like the best Warriors game yet, helped by all of the Zelda influence.

And what's more, Koei Tecmo have plans to support the game going into the future, with DLC and such.

Well, I'm mostly excited for Smash Bros. because it's my first game in the Smash Franchise. I've seen other people play the game, such as cousins who were dicks and never let me play! But I digress, I'm so excited for this game and I anticipate the countless hours of fun when it arrives.

Since I know it will likely be brought up eventually anyway since I've seen people bring up Game Theory a few times in this topic, I'm just gonna post this now.

It's complete bullshit though, and I honestly think this episode was made as click bait and nothing else. And it's only part 1. They really didn't try this time, and it's so easy to disprove.

LOL, the biggest bullshit is that they assumed Mario would be father. Bowser would be more fitting for that role for more than obvious reasons :P

MattPatt seemed to honestly enjoy making the episode, so I kinda doubt it was clickbait. (he'd been mentioning in his twitter he really enjoyed creating the theory), however I'm willing to wait till next week and here him explain himself, since in the end it's all just a theory...

And maybe its just me, but I was intrigued by his proposal, even if there was a few complications to it. I really like listening to theories about Rosalina, and given how weird Mario's universe can be, what he's proposed so far could be possible!

Actually, the theory cannot be possible, using some very simple facts. I'll paste the comment I made on the video:
"Good attempt, but as a huge fan of Rosalina (my personal favourite Nintendo character), there are a few problems with claiming Peach is Rosalina's mother. It simply cannot work:

1) Interviews with the game's creators have revealed that Rosalina was, at some point in development, going to be related to Peach, but the idea was scrapped. Her prototype design even bears much more resemblance to Peach, with a similarly regal dress. No matter what you think, you can't really argue with the word of the creators, they claim the two are not related in the final game. But even without that...

2) Rosalina IS ambidextrous. One of your own pieces of footage backs it up - the 120 star ending of Super Mario Galaxy shows her holding it in her right hand, and even using it to get the Comet Observatory moving. The scene before Bowser's Galaxy Generator also depicts her doing the exact same thing with her right hand, again. However, in Smash Bros, she uses it in her left hand during combat, to control Luma and even directly attacking foes. These two points, combined with what you presented in this video, prove she is ambidextrous, since she can perform taxing actions with both hands. I made a post about this on tumblr one time, funnily enough:
http://sonicbrawler182.tumblr.com/post/ ... ina-tidbit

So basically, the entire point about genetics making her left handed goes out the window. There is no "right hand bias" going on here, she can use both hands to wield her wand and do amazing things with it.

3) Rosalina also has a brother, mentioned in the storybook, in Chapter 7. To prove Mario and Peach gave birth to Rosalina, you must also prove they gave birth to a son, and that said son is Rosalina's brother.

4) Rosalina was traumatised to the point of believing she could find her mother, whom she knew was buried under a tree, in the outer reaches of space. Her family's death is something that never left her, as her bio for Super Mario Galaxy implies. Although she is monotone, she is still sentimental. If she met her mother and father, she would probably break down. Furthermore, she's a goddess. The "mother, watcher and protector of the cosmos". There are implications that she is all-seeing and all-knowing. I'm sure she would have found her parents if they are still alive.

5) The tree near Peach's Castle that you claim is the same as the one in Rosalina's Storybook looks nothing like the one in the Storybook. The one you say is the same looks like a normal, deciduous tree. The one in the Storybook looks like a coniferous tree (a Christmas tree, even).

So where is this tree where her mother is buried? Well, Gateway Galaxy is covered in coniferous trees, as well as the same flower patterns from the storybook. Rosalina visits her old home every 100 years. And in the 120 Star ending, we see her do exactly that, and in the Red Star mission, Rosalina outright calls this place her home.

It's possible that Rosalina's home was once a part of the Mushroom Kingdom in a different universe (Rosalina has tended to the process of rebooting the universe multiple times - again, space goddess for the win). However, Peach ain't her mother, nor is Mario her father. Rosalina has no relation to any of the Classic Mario characters, and her family's identity remains a mystery.
Not to mention that the various ship teases of RosalinaxLuigi in the game would be really creepy then, since Mario being Rosalina's father would mean Rosalina's uncle has a crush on her. :S

So yeah, I think your follow-up video needs to correct this video. I hope MatPat reads this and mentions these things in the next episode."

What, you should totally play Galaxy! I'd never played the second one, but I prefer to beat the first game before heading on to the sequels. It's on my list though!

As far as the Galaxy games go, the first one has a surprisingly detailed amount of story elements and lore (pretty much all of it being about Rosalina - yeah, you have that "Mario saves Peach" plot in the backburner the whole time, but Rosalina feels like the main character as far as story goes, even outside of the story book). And also has a more quaint atmosphere most of the time, and a more grand soundtrack. However, it's flawed as far as the gameplay and level design goes.

Galaxy 2 perfects the gameplay more or less, and the level design is more engaging, varied, and challenging. It also has a much more cheery feeling for the most part, and the music focuses on being happy and catchy more so than the original game. However, they didn't even try to make much of an interesting story, with the exception of one or two little tidbits, the game really is just "Mario saves Peach", more or less, and Rosalina herself takes a back seat in this game (she shows up in the regular ending for a bit, the 120 Star Ending reveals an interesting tidbit about the game in relation to her, she uses her "Cosmic Spirit" ability to offer to help the player if they die too much on a level, and the final unlockable of the game is to have her take residence on Starship Mario). And it really has little sense of poignancy compared to Galaxy 1.

I like both of them equally as a result. If Nintendo made a HD remaster for Wii U that combines the two games, that would be perfect. I'd definitely play through the series again in that way.

Mario Galaxy = Best 3D Mario of all time, period. I heavily prefer it over Sunshine and 64. It was the perfect Mario game, silky smooth graphics at a constant 60 frames per second with gorgeous level design and tight controls. And it's even BETTER when you play the game on Dolphin Emulator if you can get it to run properly, as I did, and it looks amazing. Personally though I much prefer Galaxy 1 to 2.
