Re: Rayman 2
I think you two are talking about different levels, due to the fact that Revolution swaps the "Beneath" moniker (which makes zero sense BTW).

Re: Rayman 2
Yeah, I'm well aware of its less than stellar rep, it's a 30 day pack-in anyways, so I'll deal with it at some point or another.

Re: Rayman 2
Best of luck getting rid of it Master, it's super clingy! Bit like me!
Re: Rayman 2
Oh shit, you're right. I was talking about the other sanctuary. The one that takes place after the Whale Bay. See, so unenjoyable I forgot the name.PluMGMK wrote:I think you two are talking about different levels, due to the fact that Revolution swaps the "Beneath" moniker (which makes zero sense BTW).

Re: Rayman 2
Ah, Stone and Fire. I admit, in my earliest runs of Rayman 2, I never liked going there.
Re: Rayman 2
I remember when my game file was erased and I had to start the game all over again, I actually left the game alone for almost a year because I hated that level so much.

I kinda liked it for the first thirty seconds, but then after that it just got to be really annoying.

Re: Rayman 2
That level is difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes one of your favourites. It's stunning, truly.
Re: Rayman 2
Well, it is easy once you do play the level a lot, but it does drag out for a bit. Though, it does have one of my favorite areas from the game.

Re: Rayman 2
What I like most about the level is that one door that revolves around and then suddenly you're in a completely different area once you go through. That's so mindfuck and Indiana Jonesy that I enjoyed it tons in the past (and still do).

Re: Rayman 2
Stone and Fire is probably the most memorable level for me. Only level I was forced to play in two sittings because of its extreme difficulty. I absolutely loved this level, though. Very rewarding design.
Re: Rayman 2
Honestly, I don't remember any of the boss battles from Rayman 2 except the final battle with Razorbeard and how dizzy it made me. Honestly, I don't remember much from Rayman 2 aside from around the beginning and the end.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing the game, it just wasn't very memorable to me, apparently.

Re: Rayman 2
One of the worst bits is where you have to ride that shell and jump bits and do the loop-de-loop. Too hard if you ask me.
Re: Rayman 2
Yeah, I don't blame ya. This game is very short and easy. It really ain't that rewarding as well.THEdragon wrote:Honestly, I don't remember any of the boss battles from Rayman 2 except the final battle with Razorbeard and how dizzy it made me. But once you get the hang of it, it's a neat feat. I love circles.rolesfamily wrote:One of the worst bits is where you have to ride that shell and jump bits and do the loop-de-loop. Too hard if you ask me.

The worst bit is the jumping over the platforms, very hard to time right
Re: Rayman 2
It's all about timing.

Re: Rayman 2
Yeah but if you mess it up enough you loose too much life and then it becomes even harder!!
Re: Rayman 2
Best boss aside from Razorbeard was Froutch for me...the goodie gonig berserk and throwing flames at you while surrounded by lava.

Oh yeah Foutch is a really cool boss. I enjoyed that one quite a bit.
