Meh, I'm not really inclined either way, if you feel you can do better, then by all means.

That would be great!

Hmm... working alright here. What browser are you using?

Yeah good.

I also think we could do with a new, neater banner.

I think RibShark can fix that using the 'download' attribute for anchor tags introduced in HTML5. If not, there are server-side solutions to change the headers to 'download'.

I was going to use the download attribute, but bear in mind it doesn't work with IE or Safari, which are the default browsers in Windows and Mac OSX.

Will IE/Safari users still be able to Save As then?

I've gone up to the Sanctuary of Water and Ice so far. I'm really obsessed with presentation, so half my efforts are spent on getting the perfect screenshots. Along the way, I've actually managed to take some pretty kick-ass ones.

Another thing I'm wondering, is it necessary to post one for the Woods of Light? The game doesn't save for the first time until after you beat that level, so the save file created initially when you start a new game just starts you at the intro anyway.

I really appreciate you're doing this! It's people like you who keep this community up and running :)

Well, if it doesn't make a difference, why would you?

Shouldn't a "Saves" link be added under Rayman 1 and 3 (and later 2) in the portal, like there is with RayTunes?

Definitely, I'll take care of this as soon as possible.

Other than that, any news on Rayman 2 saves, guys?

Question:

Uh, is it possible to transfer internet downloaded saved games of Rayman Legends to my PS3 version? I tried before but it told me it wasn't my file and not the original owner's PS3, then it deleted my current file(s) and made me restart the game. I can't collect the rest of the teensies because i'm so busy and i just wanna play the extended living dead party music levels XD

Hmm, you might be able to do so, but I remember that some save games won't play due to being tied to a PSN Account. Rayman Legends only allows for one individual save game, unlike Origins, which gave three, so keep in mind that getting a complete save will mean that you won't be able to progress from any point.

I'm going to update the look and feel of RaySaves to be more consistant with the design of the main site. If anyone has any objections, let me know.

That's only one save, we want one for every level.

Sorry for not responding, missed that.

There's a problem with the Rayman 2 saved games. They're extremely inconsistent and don't always work. I'd gotten up through to Whale Bay the first time, and then half the save games started reading the misspelled 'Err, the save gale can't be loaded', and the second time I tried it happened only after the Fairy Glade. I have a batch of save files, but I don't really know what to do.

I think successful loading of save-files involves editing Options/current.cfg as well. That way, they're tied to your game. I don't know if that was done for efficiency (which seems to be a very high priority of these indecipherable file formats) or to prevent things like this. Also I wonder if the default save-name, "007", is a James Bond reference. :P

Also, I was looking through the save-files, and it seems the maps for The Sanctuary of Rock and Lava are actually named "Earth". How 'bout that!

EDIT: Also, there are now over 9000 posts in this sub-forum. Sorry, couldn't resist…

Huh, how'd you figure out which map corresponds to which level?
