I honestly never used that 'internet lingo'. I was rather annoying I think and had a very poor English. I wish I could delete Deviantart comments. I'm glad the comments are long gone under thousand of others though.

Hm, I might have slipped in a few "lols" and the like in my early days, but not to the excessive degree I've seen from some others.
That being said, I still do use emoticons now and then.

I used to text speak most of the time and it wasn't until I came and settled into RPC that I grew out of doing it.

I've only ever typed up comments with - purposely - bad spelling when joking, never in other cases however. I used to feel that I had the self-entitlement to correct others' spelling and such, but I've recently learned how to quit being a self-satisfied twat.

Adsolution wrote:Some of my earliest comments were me attempting to adapt to 'internet lingo'. I started out at the very beginning typing with proper grammar, but soon after figured that that wasn't "cool", so I started talking like 'how r u' and such. Suffice to say, within a year I'd given it up out of embarrassment.
I've never done that surprisingly, although the reason I named my original YouTube channel superluigi132 was because everyone had numbers in their name so it was likely this cool trend. Brilliant logic.
Also love this collection of pointless videos I made that I believed everyone couldn't wait to see:
Gotta love that description.

Meh, I get corrected by others, and I correct others, a circle of corrections.
@Keane, I don't know what to do with my old YouTube vids, I followed a few others of the Rayman gang on YouTube when making those, it's time I did something proper, but I don't have the means to do so.

I didn't do anything on youtube until my speedpaints so I got nothing to be ashamed of in anyway on youtube.

Oh God, I made YouTube comments that make me want to travel back in time and smack my past self.

I've made plenty of statements when I was younger that make me want to beat the shit out of my past self.

I would happily go back in time and stick myself in a blender and not care about the future.

Same. Expecially the ones that were typed by the worst out of my 3 personas (fanboy persona). I am trying my best to control myself and not let that persona get out but even these days it sometimes does happen
Although it is more rare than it happened in past.

Meh, given how impressionable and sensitive I was as a kid, I'd probably try to talk to him about how he needs to lighten up and not get put down.

Kinda late, but I guess I'll go ahead and say Oui. I am high-functioning autistic.
And as far as the whole YouTube thing, I also used to make AMVs back in the day when I first started. Back then I was known as Earthdragon2000. I don't think I ever really used text speak, probably only once, maybe twice. But yeah, looking back at the comments I made 6 years ago when I first made my account, and even 4 years ago, they're a little embarrassing. Even at 18 I was still acting very much like a teenager. Over time, though, I did grow up and even grew to hate my original user name.

Same thing here. I knew there were autistic people but not that much.

While I wouldn't call myself autistic, I sense very strong autism coming from this thread: Hungarian Topic
After re-reading it, I find it really amusing.
Daring mods/admins to not call any 3-word posts spam unless they can prove it is as good as it gets. You guys should just use Google Translate to experience it.

It's a dumb off-topic topic for dumb, fun off-topicy topicness.
Also, putting a disability/quirk that many people on here have in that context, especially in a serious thread on the subject, comes off as kinda jackassy.
