We'll just have to wait and see it ourselves...
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
I also wonder what ubisoft might have for this year's E3 aside from the ultra classic AC stuff.
Last year, they had announced tons of games...

Hope they make a game like Rayman M/Arena.
An online style rayman game would be awesome.

Every time I am more confident about a new Rayman game.

Something Rayman related will definitely be on E3. I just hope it is not tablet game lol

Also, some guys think that they leaked "Rayman 4" because one comment of the Facebook Rayman Page:

I think that it's clear that it was a joke, but it has to be said that they deleted the messages.

Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
Every screenshot of the Rayman Twitter/Facebook replying to the constant slew of "Rayman 4?" messages tells the same story... It's more likely that they'll tell us about a new Rayman game when they're ready- not when yet another random user hassles them about it again.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
Logically, they won't show us the Rayman game until they're ready. But not every company talks with their fans and I think it's clear that a new Rayman game is in development.Eshap wrote:Every screenshot of the Rayman Twitter/Facebook replying to the constant slew of "Rayman 4?" messages tells the same story... I still hate how they keep asking for "Rayman 4"
It would make more sense if they wrote Rayman 6 since Rayman 4 is technically Origins while Rayman 5 is Legends.

Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
If that all was just a joke and no new Rayman 4 is currently in development, why can't they just NOT reply -.- ?
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
People like to tease. Expecially a game devs.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
I don't think that Rayman Origins is Rayman 4, I like to refer to them like the "Ubiart spinoffs" since it has lots of things that doesn't make sense with Rayman's story (Rayman's bald, and lots of more things).
And I think that if they said all those messages this year is because is a game in development to celebrate his anniversary, why would they say that Ancel is working in a project? If it was WILD they could say "He's still working in WILD" because we know that WILD exists.

Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
It's not Rayman 4. I lost hope until E3.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
Rayman is made by French guys, maybe they could present the "game" at the Gamescom, a videogame fair which is in Europe.GOT4N wrote:It's not Rayman 4. I lost hope until E3.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
And surrender our mighty French ideas to them nasty Germans? I don't think so. Ubisoft shall wait for the Paris Game Week, just for their project to be overshadowed by the next Call Of Duty, like it always does.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
I know they're french lol I have a french dedicace from Ancel saying "Congratulations for your Rayman 1 Speedrun!" ^^Jaster wrote:Rayman is made by French guys, maybe they could present the "game" at the Gamescom, a videogame fair which is in Europe.GOT4N wrote:It's not Rayman 4. But yep, you're right, maybe there is a hope :O
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
Origins and Legends are not spin-offs. They're not.
Re: Some great stuff for the 20th anniversary (?)
They are also not Rayman 4 and 5.

That makes no sense at all actually.OCG wrote:I still hate how they keep asking for "Rayman 4"

Despite Origins and Legends being mainline titles, those are NOT part of the original series. They aren't spinoffs, they still contribute to the story in a way, but they definitely aren't numbered titles. There's legitimately no harm in calling the next big 3D Title "Rayman 4"
