Oi, I am a big supporter of physical copies. Hell, I even prefer those first. But this is better than not getting the game at all, ya dorkus.

Re: E3 2016
I know, it looks bad. The series is dead, I've gotten over it, though it is sad to see.
I'm curious of that new Mario Party if it will suck or not. Nintendo's releases as of lately have been VERY very lackluster, so I hope to see this do well.

Re: E3 2016
Their lack of communication is retarded, no one asked for either of these games and what people want is very clearly and obviously being channeled to them. I'm sure Colour Splash won't be completely terrible, and setting aside the lack of anything creative it at least looks visually appealing and like there'll be some fun elements scattered around, but there's just something so painfully generic and safe about Mario games nowadays. Hopefully this isn't a trend that continues with the NX.
Star Rush didn't let me down as fast as 10 or Island Tour, but I'm again very skeptical. Visually generic and uninspired, and gameplay wise just very confusing and vague - I have no idea wtf you actually do in the game. I'm willing to give it a shot, but I just kinda doubt that an already "maybe ok" game released on the wrong platform by the same people who fucked up thrice, is gonna be worth dropping 40 bucks on.
I did really like Zelda though, I'm admittedly not as big a fan of the series as most people but I'm already pretty confident I'll be getting this one.

Re: E3 2016
Funny, you'd think the fact that Wii U is one of Nintendo's worst selling consoles they'd LISTEN to fan demands instead of ignore. Though I will admit, Color Splash certainly doesn't look awful (some parts actually look pretty creative), but it definitely will lack the charm of the original Paper Mario titles. Like you say, Mario games have been playing it too safe. And I think that may just be the reason I'm so excited for the new Zelda. It's breaking the traditional aspect, and doing something completely different, meanwhile we have Star Fox Zero which takes the elements that made 64 so great and made it worse. I hope we get more innovation with the NX.
Edit: Also it seems Europe is actually getting a physical copy of Rhythm Heaven megamix.

How do you know of Dorkus, you rotten Bradly Ez?
Would be nice if they remove region locks on their consoles.Rayfist wrote:Funny, you'd think the fact that Wii U is one of Nintendo's worst selling consoles they'd LISTEN to fan demands instead of ignore. Re: E3 2016
Apparently I read an article about Nintendo's stance on region locking for the NX and they said it is possible that region locking will not be on the NX. I honestly hope so. For example if Nintendo didn't have region locking I would have already gotten the new Rhythm Heaven game LAST YEAR! Its kinda ridiculous that fans of the series such as myself had to be put through a year of waiting purely for a translation of a completed game.Hoodcom wrote:Bradandez wrote:Oi, I am a big supporter of physical copies. It's kinda weird how Ninty have flip-flopped on region locking, if memory serves, the DS wasn't region locked, but then the 3DS was.

Mine are:
Insomniac's Spiderman
Crash Bandicoot remasters
God of War
Horizon: Zero Dawn
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
The Last Guardian (though I still need to play Shadow of the Colossus)
Crash Bandicoot Remasters
Zelda Breath of The Wild
Yakuza Zero
Persona 5
Now Horizon I wouldn't say I'm hyped for, but I'm certainly interested, I like the whole technology vs nature theme they got going on. Very interesting.
Re: E3 2016
-Crash Remastered Remakes
-Crash Skylanders
-Daisy Amiibo
Everything else was a yawn or not much of interest for me.

Because the Crash figure looks fucking awesome. And I fucking love Daisy and I'm so fucking glad we're getting an amiibo of her.
Also, RIP Paper Mario lol.

Yeah I was surprised about that.Master wrote:It's kinda weird how Ninty have flip-flopped on region locking, if memory serves, the DS wasn't region locked, but then the 3DS was.
Is the New 3DS still region locked, or did they remove that for it?

Re: E3 2016
Forgot to mention, I'm also excited for the new upcoming title by Hideo Kojima: Death Stranded. Though it was hard for me to get excited when we were given no gameplay. Though that trailer was really fucking trippy. Classic Kojima.
Re: E3 2016
It is but softmods can remove it quite easily.Hoodcom wrote:Yeah I was surprised about that.Master wrote:It's kinda weird how Ninty have flip-flopped on region locking, if memory serves, the DS wasn't region locked, but then the 3DS was.
