We need animators right now, we are short on people who can animate properly - Experience working a lot with blendshapes/shape keys/morph targets would be extra appreciated - It would help achieving the squash and stretch animation well.

We couldn't miss this awesome day for nothing at all! And to celebrate it we are giving you a wonderful render of Rayman facing a fierceless threat!
Stay tuned, and Happy 25th Anniversary, Rayman! Thanks for all the support <3

It looks amazing! I would love to see more still shots like this, they would be great as wallpapers.

Everything looks great so far! I have two questions:
1. Will the voice clips be reused from the original game or will they be rerecorded with your voices?
2. Will the game be completely faithful to original or will there be some story changes?

This is certainly interesting. I wonder, will the gameplay stick closely to the original game's gameplay or will it be revamped in some way? (Forgive me if this question was answered already, I must have missed it)
Also, that render is pretty neat. The models look great, and the lighting is cool! The robo pirates on the left and right look somewhat silly with that stance, though. Their poses are not very dynamic at all, making them look very non-threatening as they just casually stand still and raise one arm lazily. I would suggest taking a look at their in-game animations (and maybe looking at whatever official renders there are which involve them) so that you're able to get a better understanding of how the henchmen move.
Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing updates on this!

This is going to be the Real Rayman Revolution which, this time it actually keeps how Rayman 2 is played out.

1. The voices will be taken from the original game.
2. The story will remain the same.

Some gameplay elements will be slightly altered to make them more enjoyable.
Thank you for your feedback!!

It'd be cool if there were some idle animations potraying cocky side of Rayman. Michel Ancel said that he wanted to show that aspect of Ray's character in second installment but in the end it was overlooked due to focus on environments of the game. Would be a nice minor detail

Ah yes, it makes more sense here than the main Rayman 2 topic.

Before some new updates come, which part of the original game you guys are excited to see the most in the remake? The final fight seems to be most interesting for me, I think that Grolgoth could have done so much more based on Captain's description.
