Well damn it, turns out I won't be doing it either. Got my cousin's thirtieth. And last year I had that twenty-first as well. Why must the people in my life have such ill-timed birthdays?

Well, I really should be the one to realize these birthdays are coming up in advance, and flag them while we're deciding the date. It's hard though, considering I hadn't been to either of those people's birthdays in years…

Well yeah, I did have a conversation with some of my colleagues recently, about why should twenty-firsts, thirtieths, &c. be so special? We didn't really come to a satisfactory conclusion though.

I'm afraid I won't be able to fully participate, except maybe for brief stints here and there.

That shouldn't come as a surprise do to my post activity recently but still. I'll be in vacation with family and I'll mostly spend time with them.
