What does the punishment for the wrong answers look like? I never played any of these educational things.

Getting the wrong answer was somewhat creepy to me, indestructible red enemies engulfing you and that

So wait were the levels basically the same in each versions, just with harder questions?

The levels mostly just had harder questions, but there were quite a few levels that were completely changed. Also, the paths were usually changed, presumably to stop guessing based on having played easier versions.
Also, there used to be a video on YouTube showing a handful of wrong answers in Vol. 3, but unfortunately I just discovered that the user was banned for copyright infringement.

Guys, sorry for bumping a thread over a year dead, but I have a request to make and I don't know where else to make it.
Can someone please get me some (Good quality) screenshots of the Magician during the animations he does at the very end of each level? Preferably in several different 'poses', too? I can't find any usable-quality screenshots of him in the learning games anywhere on the web, and I don't think any ripped sprites from the educational spinoffs have been made.
And by usable quality I mean not all distorted and stretched Like the epsxe emulator makes the sprites, ugh...

I've been after this for a while as well, alongside Betilla's additional sprites (Firefox's spell check is trying to get me to call her Willabella

). Unfortunately, while me and my brother have delved into sprite ripping before, I haven't had any success with PS1 sprites yet. I might try again at some point

Yeah, Betilla's animation in Rayman Junior was so much better as well! Just today I decided to look up sprite ripping, then swiftly decided it was way out of my skill level. Hm. There is a PC version of the Rayman Learning games, I'm sure. Perhaps someone has it and can rip sprites from the PC version.

I actually own the PC version, it was the first version I had (the graphics are actually a lot nicer than the PSX version). Unfortunately, as all PC/DOS games are programmed differently, it would actually be harder to know how to get into the data of the PC version. Getting them from the PSX port would be the way to go.
I did actually consider doing a play-through of the PC version on Youtube, but I thought I'd stick to Rayman games lacking footage, and I've got two disks of Rayman CP to get through yet

Ah, I see. Now that I think about it, just how many learning spinoffs did Rayman get?
And in case anyone's wondering what I had requested the screenshots/sprites for, I just needed to edit up a convincing looking fake screenshot of Mr Dark zapping the Magician with magic and the Magician looking stunned/shocked/frightened/whatevs.

They were a pleanty games in each country. The UK got
Maths and English with Rayman splitted in 3 volumes, French with Rayman and Rayman Activity Center. I think in France they had the most games featuring Spanish with Rayman, German with Rayman and English with Rayman and some more.

Golly! Rayman, Betilla and the Magician sure liked to keep their younger fans mentally sharp, didn't they?
Also, Spanish/German with Rayman, hmmm. I wonder what are the names of the Magician's other two cousins, what dessert recipes they sent, and what horrid ingredients they put in said recipes...

I have a question. Is it possible to find Rayman Junior (Brain Games) American intro? I remember seeing it long time on YouTube but I cannot find it now.

Hm, I didn't know there was an intro or how to get it to play. Well I guess it's due to me using an emulator and iso....I guess.

At some point I'd like to get around to finding a rom that has the intro for this game. But that's on my own time.

....is it weird for me to say that I find Art Alley one of the slowest levels in this game despite how much I liked riding the easel?

I just checked the PS1 versions and oddly enough only the PAL versions have the cutscenes. In the NTSC version they're completely absent! I guess another thing messed up in the PS1 port
