I think the Leptys took some of Polokus's creations and bred them into Knaaren, so in a way both gods created them.
I'd forgotten about the Leptys!!
Now this is all confusing....I think that because the Kannareen were underground all their lives, maybe they dont know anything about Polokus or came from another planet?

How could they have come from another planet? Rayman is the only one not created by Polokus, and since the Knaaren are in the same world, they must have been created by Polokus too, and therefore are on the same planet...
I guess...

That's my point.
So they call him their father...just for fun?

It's also possible that the Knaaren never knew of Polokus, and so started worshipping Leptys because they discovered that god first.

You are right. The Knaaren are pretty much on the same planet, only on the other side, where The Leptys is the god.

Polokus created all the creature's where light is. The Leptys created where darkness is. That's my theory.

That's interesting...and that would make it kind of odd that light comes out of the eyes of the statue of the Leptys when Gumsi gives Rayman that power...

Well, it's not exactly possible to them to shoot darkness from his eyes...

I use the term "Glade" to refer to 1) An island/continent in which the games happen, 2) The planet on which they happen, or 3) The entire universe in which the games happen. It's never really made clear. Interestingly though, when I looked up "glade" in the dictionary, it said it was a "clearing in a forest".

That's mildly interesting. If "Leptis" was, say, the name of an ancient Greek bird god or something, I'd be interested, but...

I know, I just thought I'd mention it anyway. Perhaps the developers just thought it would be a cool name?

Well, it's a name from the ancient greek city, but The Leptys is fantasy, so why not use it for him ?

Oh, and Razoff's grandmother is called Artemis, and that was the name of a Greek goddess, too.
