El Dango said me this part doesn't appear in his version.

In Polish, it is "given the fact the typical
character is based on about 380 polygons you can plainly see why I'm a true masterpiece of 3D animation"...
Holy Crap wrote:Oh, you mean the part where he's upside-down and starts saying smart things?

Exactly he mean this.
"Rayman! Do something! Blood came to my head... maybe first time in my life... I feel kinda smarter!"

Once again, glute is already an English word

That's very similar though, it means exactly the same thing anyways.

That sounds like a bad translation

But yes, I know which part you're talking about.
@ Holy Crap: Yeah

@ Hunchman: The way Globox said it suggested it was some form of animal, this could be a Globox.

It is how does it appear in Polish version, except of "blood came", there was a word specific to liquids, sometimes used for e.g. rivers.

According to Stan, that word is actually referring to a standard 3D character, and not to Globox, who has a better definition

I've just thought of something-
If Polokus created, lets say, clark- he was the first created of his species, so then his species will be called "clark" or something...
Like the
Murphy's- Murphy was the first created of his species, and his relatives are named after him...
So Globox's species must be called
Globox?

Yeah that kind of makes sense to me.

That would mean that Polokus created the world just a few years before the events in the games!

That does NOT make sense. Rayman's world is very old. Ly explains to Rayman, that Polokus has been sleeping for many years. And all those ancient temples. No, if the world was only a few years old, then people couldn't have created so much. They wouldn't have learned how to speak, and they definitely wouldn't have time to build all those things. In fact, the world would just have been a big lava ball. It couldn't possibly have been that young.

Yes. The characters probably call Murfy's species "Murfies" because Murfy is the only member of that species they know the name of or something.

Or, as said before, Ubisoft sucks at creating names for character species...

I do think Globox's spieces are called glutes.
I recall Globox saying "Gashes Glutes!" sometimes in R3. Something like a "Holy Smokes!" for us. And Globox did clearly say "Given the fact that a typical glute only contains 380 polygons..." The word 'glute' is very often said by him. And sometimes he even referred himself to that if I recall correctly.

I think he's saying "Gaseous Glutes".
And btw, remember those names I mentioned from the Globox Soccer? They're all nicknames of developers, and they're in the credits.

A, that's interesting. But you've now proved for yourself that they arern't really canon names.

Not necessarily; the developers could have given them canon names, but named them after themselves.
If someone names a character after themselves, that doesn't mean the name isn't canon.

''Dear player, may I present to you that yours truly is composed of 816 polygons. Given the fact that a typical glute only contains 380 polygons, you can plainly see I'm on the cutting edge of 3D technology."
Something like that. Most of it I clearly understood, since I turned the music and sound effects off, so I could only hear the voices. BTW, Ever heard the lady voice at lvl1 HHQ say "Will the incredible glute please report to the welcome desk?"
She was clearly referring to Globox.

Might refer to the other characters as well.

As a pointed out before, glute means ass anyway
