Sonic 4 is bullshit. First of all, shouldn't Sonic's big comeback be on a disc release instead of DLC? And why the hell are they releasing the game IN PARTS?! Are they THAT money-hungry?! Mega Man 9 and NSMB (Wii) were full games, so why can't this be? Sega's taking the lame, greedy route instead of the fan-pleasing honest route.
Okay, not to get too off topic, somebody needs to contact him and ask when this will be released.
(Yeah, I'm just repeating what everybody else just said)

Who releases a game in parts?

Sega does. They're taking advantage of the fans' desire for a new 2D Sonic game. I was going to get it on WiiWare until I found out that I had to download it it bit by bit. That'd be like if they released the new Indiana Jones film, only each scene was sold individually on DVD.

Ahh, yes Sega. So they still exist, huh? I wonder what they do to stay in business.

Well, Ubisoft is (apparently) doing the same thing with Rayman Origins.

Yeah, and I regrettably bitched about it the same way I did about Sonic 4
PS. Welcome back

Is the welcome back for me? If so, thanks!
So is Rayman DX still being worked on or has the project been dropped? Anyone know?
(Sonic 4 does promise to be good though, but the site is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow and bandwidth-consuming

.)

Hmm... Today, I have just noticed that J-MaxVG has closed his YouTube and DeviantART accounts. His last visit on this forum was May 21st.
So peoples prediction were probably correct that he would abandon his project as well, unfortunately. I'll need to remove his game from the
RayWiki article then.

if this game does not exist, this topic should be locked
(perhaps

)

A company taking advantage of great demand for a product in order to make money? Good lord, that’s horrible.

No. If they were releasing every single level of Rayman Origins on a separate disc, then this would be a valid comparison. It’s not.

I know I'm bumping this 5 year old thread.. (Which I hope isn't against forum rules, forgive me mods.. I am such a noob to message boards.)
I also didn't know that there was a thread for this game either... I had an account here for a while but never actually participated in posting. o_o
So if I may, I'd like to present to you; The NEW Rayman DX!

Ahem, anyways, I think this is best put in the Rayman fanworks area, I'll move it shortly.

Wooow, this brings back memories. I remember watching videos on your game a few years back- very glad to see you picking it back up. It's looking good!

Ah, very nice work on retaining the Rayman 2 atmosphere! Do you think perhaps you could shift the camera up a bit so Rayman sits about two thirds of the way down the screen?

This looks really good. Rayman runs a bit fast in my opinion.

Thanks! I love the atmosphere of Rayman 2. I've been playing the game alot to try to capture the feel.
I'll also shift up the camera too, thanks for pointing that out.
