Not quite; it's on PSN in most regions. I believe it was one of the first (if not THE first) third-party PS1 title to be released on it.
I always feel like, if companies don't want to make their games or versions of their games easy to access and play, then they shouldn't complain if people download an ISO.

:boon:

There is a page about Rayman Collector.

And French with Rayman and English with Rayman are both the same as Rayman Junior, but with French and English shit replacing the maths and spelling.

Can someone post some information about the minigames? Someone should also upload the Making of Rayman 2 videos to YouTube.

When was that page placed there? Plus I get what your saying spiraldoor. Look, all I know is that Rayman collector is similar to Rayman Forever and Designer and the fans who own this considered the levels to be both short and dull.

You already said this. Plus, I knew it beforehand.

Rayman123 wrote:Just some facts I've picked up.

1. Now if someone who speaks french, can find the titles of three mini-games, and translate the titles of them, we can know what the titles are.

2. Rayman Collector was rereleased and combined with Rayman By His Fans to make Rayman 100 Niveaux.

3. Even though they are in French and without the intro plus the end movies, Rayman Collector has the Rayman 1, Gold(24 levels), Designer(mapper), and By His Fans files. All you need is to have the three discs for them, install them, and you have three more games from Rayman Collector. Although you can install the other three games separately, your choice.

4. There isn't a page about Rayman Collector, French with Rayman, or English with Rayman on Raywiki.

5. We probably already this: Rayman collector is much like Rayman Gold(24 levels). Greater than Rayman 1 design, but not as ingenious as the 24 levels in Rayman Gold.

Like the info?
You are missing the 60 added levels that are in Rayman Collector only, or may also be in this German version as well, as detailed:
MasterHero wrote:I don't know if you know already but in Germany there is a package called "Rayman Forever" hich is smilliar to Rayman collector.

it includes:

- 60 new levels (made with RD (not the fanpack!), some are good bust most are not)
- 3 new raymangames (in german called: 1.Urwaldhatz 2.Das große Päng 3. Luft, Luft (?, not sure about number 3)
- making of from rayman 2
So this sounds like it's the same as Rayman Collector, but in German, but not at all the same as the Rayman Forever that was released in the US, which only included Rayman by his fans, and the 24 Designer Levels.

The third minigame would be Balloon, Balloon, and that's about all the German I know. I can get French translations if I go home and actually check my collector CD for you soon, as my girlfriend knows some French.
RayFan9876 wrote:Yes we all know that, it's been mentioned here hundreds of times, and it was released everywhere not only in Germany and I have it and so does Tehrunescape. :P
Well, I think he was trying to say Rayman Forever is different in Germany than the other Rayman Forever releases. The US release I have is missing the 60 levels and three minigames.

Also here's the making of Rayman 2 movie, but I could swear one of the game CDs I have somewhere have it with English subtitles. There may be an English subbed version of Rayman Learning games...

Rayman Collector

I know. I said "Rayman Collector was rereleased and combined with Rayman By His Fans," here I meant it was released again, but it was now combined with Rayman By His Fans to make Rayman 100 Niveaux. I don't know about the German version of Rayman Forever unless someone can give it to us directly. Rayman Collector had somewhat better gameplay (I mean the levels, how they are built) than Rayman 1, but it(the levels) wasn't as ingenious as the 24 levels of Rayman Gold. Rayman Gold were better than Rayman Collector. A lot of Rayman fans thought Rayman By His Fans was the screw-up for the series before Rayman 2.

EDIT: Any updates here?

I think Haruka put an ISO on Megaupload somewhere. You should PM them.

Wow! really its rare? I remeber when I little I had somehow obtained Rayman Collector. I remeber it pretty well. I used to play it a lot. It had the orginal rayman game plus rayman gold, plus rayman designer from what I remember. It also had a cool video showing how they made rayman 2 but it was in French. It had English subs, but I was to young and didn't know how to read yet lol. I just remeber the video being pretty cool. Unfortunatly I at somepoint in my life I lost this game at one point or another. Best of luck to you in finding it. It should be obtainable somewhere.

By the way as I said you don't need to know French for it. At least the one I had, all three of the Rayman games were in English and the French video had different languages you could pick for subs, including English.

Sounds more like you had Rayman Forever, because Collector does not have an English option.

Also neither Forever or Collector are rare as far as computer games go. As stated before, Collector is still in print to buy online at many French websites, including Amazon.fr. I also seen it in a cheap game bin on my trip to Paris last year. Just because it was not published in the US does not make it rare because the whole world does not center around the US video game market.

Well to me, games like this are really rare. Because you don't see them that much, if you buy them on Amazon.fr, they may not ship to the US along with a lot of other French websites. I already have Rayman Collector along with an old non-working Windows 98 SE. Plus welcome to the community yaz248.

Any Amazon site is probably the best place to find something you want shipped internationally.

I frequently import things from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.fr, Amazon.de, Amazon.ca, and Amazon.co.jp. HMV is good for it too.

It helps to have a credit card and some cash to spare for shipping of course though.
