When it comes to digital work, just like traditional work, it just takes practice. I alternate back and forth between the two all the time and I find if I don't draw traditionally for months on end and go back to it, it feels weird to draw on paper but can still draw just as well as I can digitally. However, if I take a break from drawing digitally, it takes a lot longer to get back into the groove. If you keep at it you'll get there eventually. It's just training yourself to use the tools well.
Also, Cintiqs are really difficult to get used to, even if you're used to traditional drawing. I've only met two people so far who actually enjoy using Cintiqs, and they were both 3D animation majors who specialized in character modelling.
Don't be sorry for bumping this thread. It needed more life as it is.
Very nice. It feels kind of empty, though. Also, something pretty significant you might want to avoid in the future when you go to draw something like this again: There's a tangent right smack dab in the middle of the picture. This flattens out a picture and completely denies it any depth it could have. Any time two objects on different planes share a side you might want to go back and edit it so you can keep the illusion of depth. I actually have the same problem right now in my sig but I've been way too lazy to fix it, heheheh.

Been practicing on making clean lineart with a tablet and 'tis a somewhat of my take on Finn (LONGHAIRFINNISBESTFINNALSOHELOOKSPRETTYDIFFERENTIFISAYSO.exe) and FP and and and... FP's anatomy and Finn's neck is all over the place, for some reason these freaking mistakes happen usually with a tablet, but then with traditional art I have no problem whatsoever with the anatomies. Ahem, the finished one will look less poopier after some fixing.
You're certainly succeeding in making clean lineart. Also, I'm totally digging your style. Can't wait to see the end result.
