I'm not gonna "give up". :) Level Design and modelling isn't the hard part really. It's making the AI and making Rayman control like he should. The control part is VERY hard to do. I'm searching and posting everywhere to get information on how to code Lua for CryEngine2, and how it works. I need him to be quick, flexible, very responsive, and steeply maneuverable. That's the hard part. As you can see in the video I have, he's not. Notice how he stops and turns all the time? That' just from changing direction.

Monitors have nothing to do with it! Some companies try to hawk "Windows Vista-compatible" monitors, but that's absolute rubbish.
Well i'm buying one anyway :P
Now to find a good graphic card

You don't need something hugely great. You can get a $120 card that can play it on lvl5 out of 6. a $90 one can probably play it on 3-4 out of 6.

If you just want to play it on lowest, a 7600-7900 nVidia card works fine. I'm not going into ATI unless you plead because I'm in favor of nVidia, and the game works better with nVidia. It doesn't have to be the cards I listed. Those were just examples.

I think there might be a comparison chart somewhere.

Yeah... it's my CD (i got it from school and they said i could do anything with it i want..... excluding to break it) and i don't even have to bring it back.

But the copyright is an other story, you would have to give the makers credit in the credits.

J. Overmars made it. (who ever the heck he is)

Oh lol, I ment that it wasn't illegal...I thought you said something else. :P

I feel stupid.

EDIT: Well...I've got reading trouble or something...I thought you posted (when I posted this post) "Isn't that illegal" instead of "Is that legal"...

I feel even more stupid.

Nice music. :P Yeah I could use that. Also there might be a delay in footage because I'm really trying to figure out how to get Rayman to act more like Rayman, and if I can't do that it'll slow down the designing part of it.

What if someone found out and sued RayFan, R4321 and maybe more?

And again, the CD was legal, but i think you will have to give J. Overmars credit in the credits.

But now on topic: Are you gonna make custom worlds and bosses?

What do you think are the odds that someone could get sued for the illegal distribution of copyrighted music? Really?

Yes there are custom worlds and bosses. The first level being Pink Plant Woods, the second level being Windmill Hills, the third level being Tall Gulch. I'll explain the Overworld now. How it works is, at the end of each level there will be a fountain. When you reach it, you can either choose to continue without saving, save and continue, or the "Memory Realm". How that works is, if you choose to go to the Memory Realm, Rayman looks into the reflection of himself in the water of the fountain and he gets transported to a white room in his memory where he can run around and jump into any previous memory, meaning any previous level he's been to. So its just like a level selection in which you can free roam the room but only play levels you've finished.

@Spiraldoor:

lol

The memory Realm is a nice idea, You could also make a underwater area, then first Rayman has to find something to breath longer underwater

EDIT: Windmill hills is also a deleted phase/level at the land of the livid dead in Rayman 3!!

Heh, yeah I should do that. :) CryEngine2 can make beaUTIFUL underwater areas. Believe me.

that's where I got the name from. I'm using the scrapped Windmill Hills music too.

Here's some Band Land music I have done on my Digital Piano.

http://download159.mediafire.com/xisign ... nd+1.5.m4a

It's m4a so I think you need iTunes. Not 100% sure if other programs can read it.
