Playing piano with long nails didn't feel right to me. Especially staccato parts, those were just plain annoying.

I agree with Mat. I've been playing piano for 13 years and it's really annoying when you hear and feel the "click" against the keys with every finger. Now on guitar, I never used my nails anyway for finger picking so yah.

My nails are short enough not to click against the keys and long enough to fingerpick.

I wouldn't be able to put up with short nails. Two of them (the most important ones) broke a few days before a concert and almost ruined it.
To be fair I hardly play piano though but I don't notice any clicking when I do... maybe I play it too loud

Just recorded a new track I've just composed,
Breeze. Done in one take, with a nice dirty sound ! In fact it's quite close to what I wanted to do.

Good track, I like it! I think it'd sound better with some more fx on the electric guitar though, maybe even wah-wah.

The electric is a 12s ahah, I've only used some equalizer. Well in fact I've only used my 12s for this track. And the solo is completely improvised.

Haha well, that was enough to fool me.
I think you should experiment with the tone some more and work on the solo, the track has great potential.

Well the 12s was plugged and I used an overdrive pre-amp obviously ahah. I meant that the dirtiness is mainly due to the fact it's a 12s.
I might record another track this afternoon hm. And yes I'll work some more on it, but I like this version.
