I'm actually beginning to think that the rom dump of English with Rayman that I've been using the whole time is a bit more dodgy then I originally thought. I already know that the music doesn't work, but I'm also having strange behaviour with the cutscenes. Ever notice how in the 'intro and gameplay' video it seems to cut off while The Magician is in the middle of his sentence? I always thought that was weird. Plus, every few times I try to watch it, it goes out of synch. Not to mention some highly strange behaviour from the end of the ending cutscene, which I originally thought was because the game was slightly crudely put together (which it noticeably is in places ), but now I'm not so sure.

Maybe I should try and find another copy and test this theory out.

That's probably a good idea, but where are you going to find another copy of this seldom-acquired game?

Now that part is where my plan falls down. The only other version I've sound so far is a Russian translation that someone has (rather crudely) put together. The interesting thing is they seem to have made it using an interesting different version of the game because it has a different title screen. Unfortuneatly I can't find the download link on the forum page, which probably means I have to get some random, pointless account on some Russian forum to get it to appear

Also, the copy Spiraldoor has used to take screenshots is different to the one in the link because it has the alternate world map. Shows that there are other versions out there somewhere....

Hmmmm interesting. I wonder if Spiraldoor's copy is different in any other ways. Probably not.

It seems as if every version is its own goldmine.

I can understand some of it, but a full translation would be appreciated. If someone could do that then I'd happily add English subtitles to the video

Because it's a magic photo album! I don't actually know, but I think it's just a cool effect that they put in
