Really? When I was REALLY Young I thought he was some kind of chicken I had the craziest imagination.

I wonder, why do not so many people prefer the Rayman 1 look? Is it the bug-eyes? I must admit, the eyes did bother me at first.

Rayman 1 had never appealed to me. He looks like you could dismember his face like a Mr. Potatohead.

True, true, I guess it is a little odd the way his hair grew from the back of his eyeballs. Just a little.

I think R1 is my least favourite at the moment. It isn't like I don't like it, but I liked the fact that in Rayman 2 they redesigned the hair (by removing the "third" hair) and improving the shapes of the overall body parts to be less circular/spherical.

My rankings:
1. Rayman Origins
2. Rayman 1
3. Rayman 3
4. Rayman 2

I like the RO look. He looks more mature but not too much. They seem to have the right balance between cool/mature and not small/kiddie. That being said, I like the Rayman 1 look.

I would say that R2 is the best - it just looks the most "Rayman" to me. After that would come R3, RO and finally R1.

1st-Rayman 2, he is just more Raymanish as said Silent Sanctuary....Also 2nd Rayman game is my favorite.
2nd-Rayman 1. Whata cuto!
3rd-RO, only thing I dislike in him that is his "always being crazy". I love more serious Ray.
4th-R3

Very hard question for me. xD I can say that I equally adore R1, R3 and RO. R3 and RO both look very handsome, R1 is just a bunch of cuteness. ^^I dislike only R2 outlook.

I like them all equally, but all represent their own era & feel

R1 : nostalgic
R2 : representing 3D technology in gaming
R3 : my personal favorite for unknown reasons..
R0 & RL : best suited for the young generation(kids & funlovers)

RO may not be the best Rayman game, but it still is a very good game, and while Ancel may have gone awry in his ways, that doesn't give you the right to insult him.

Wow... I hated RO, I'm probably the one on this forum who disliked RO the most... but god, I never went that low when I described my hate for it.

i really hated it i hate it just a small bit less then the rabbits when i say something i mean it die ro your more like bo then a rayman game

I like all of his designs. Well, I don't like his original design too much, since that design always looked a bit strange to me, but I like all of his other designs. Anyways, I might as well type out my own list.

1. His Rayman 3 design. I liked how they got rid of the neckerchief and replaced it with the hood. His messy hair was also a nice redesign.

2. Rayman 2. The neckerchief seemed to fit his design back then, considering it was the '90s. I don't think they'd be able to pull off the neckerchief now, though. All in all, it was good, but his hair looked like pasta.

3. Rayman Origins. Is it me, or did his hair get even more so messy in RO? Anyways, it's kind of hard deciding between R3 and RO, since his design in RO is nearly identical to his R3 design, but with very minor, minor changes. I have to go with R3 as number one though, since there's something about it I enjoy more. I guess it's only my nostalgia.

4. Rayman 1. The original design is pretty much the same as his R2 design, with only the hair and skin being different. His skin is lighter, and it looks like he has more hair. I never liked this design much, it just strikes me as odd.
