Just a technical detail: if I submit a digital image, which format should I use? Or should I just choose the one with the highest quality and do you guys then have the equipment to open it? By the way, what IS the highest quality formatting? I have Photoshop Elements, if that is of any use in your answer.
Also, I'm joining this (if my post doesn't make that clear already ). Should I submit my username through e-mail already, or just when I send along my entry?

Knowing we must send our entries through e-mail, I believe the best format to send is JPG.

I'd save in a lossless format actually, such as PNG, as there seems to be no filesize limit.

I would suggest competitors stick to bitmapped image formats commonly used on the internet, such as PNG, JPEG and GIF. PNG is a lossless format and I fail to see how advanced TIFF features could bring any significant improvement, and anyway a JPEG with a high quality factor will look great as well. In any case, you can always send a TIFF version in addition to the bitmap.
As concerns the participation email, please send all the information at the same time.
