As I said in Itch.io comment I think that you should add a visual confirmation when a row or a column number is done, I think it's easier to see what to do next in picross game. I don't know what you think about that but to me this is a QoL feature that I would love (even if it's optionnal)

Also another feedback: I find Mr Sax challenge difficulty too high and unpleasent. Cursor's hitbox feels a bit too big and unfair. Mr Sax attacks are too frequents, add to this the mistakes lowering your lives and you get a hardcore experience, especially on the SteamDeck with the trackpad. I don't think this boss should be that aggressive. Even though I remember Rayman on PS1 getting me nightmares because of its difficulty.

It's a honest critic and I have much respect for the work that was put into that game, but Mr Sax made me rage quit... I had much pleasure playing the game and give these "negative" feedbacks in order to make the game even better :)

Thanks! Yes, I'm already working on a visual confirmation! Moreover, I'm considering porting the game to another engine, as I've already implemented picrosses on another engine with a much higher level of QoL! As for the bosses, some of the difficulty spikes are due to the fact that in the final game, the locations from different games are presented in a random order without chronological sequence, which makes some bosses more challenging than others. I've tried to balance them for the demo, but it seems like my eye is a bit blurred. In any case, I will take these tips into consideration, thank you again!

This OST is beautiful! 🎵 "The Muse of Poets" really captures that mystical atmosphere of the first game, it's so soothing but mysterious.

I'm also loving the dark purple aesthetic in "Returning to The Elbowroom", definitely getting some wicked Mr Dark vibes from that vortex. 😈 It looks like exactly the kind of spell he'd cast to warp around. 👏

Cool! Not sure if anyone will actually want to use the 30th Anniversary music over the original OST, but giving folks the option to do so is always a good thing in my mind!

I haven’t tried Lum’O’Grams, as it doesn’t really look like my type of game, but hopefully those who do play the demo enjoy the update! :)
