I think the UbiArt subseries has defaced Rayman much more than Captain Laserhawk ever could.

I think rayman 2 has defaced rayman the most though :paranormal:

Honestly that's fair, could they at least give him normal pupils so he doesn't look like he's high all the time?

Funny how CL's Rayman is the one who does drugs but looks waaaay less high than Ubiart Ray.

I’m 99% sure rayman in rayman 3 does drugs

Going off topic again, but the rayman 3 humour SUCKS, like, sure, you’re on drugs, haha I guess?

I'm fairly certain that Rayman 3's humor goes a little deeper than that.

Contrary to Captain Laserhawk which has little to no depth.

I'm not very familiar with the English localization but I suspect that a lot was lost in translation, or maybe even censored. The humor in the French version is top-notch.

Is there any less drug jokes?

Are there really this many jokes about drugs? There are some about Globox alcoholism and Murphy accusing the devs of smoking pot during the tutorial but aside from that I don't recall any.

Like I said, I am not in a position to compare the two. There are drug jokes though.

The only ones I can remember are the Globox drunk jokes and "I think someone's been eating paint chips again".

Are all drug jokes necessarily bad?

It's cultural. Ubisoft made the "the devs took some drugs" joke before it became JDG's motto.

Filthy brexitanians can't fathom. They're still stuck with bacon and beans.

Yeah they’re not funny. I’ve never laughed at a drug joke in my entire life, and yes, my humour standards are incredibly high

Nah, it's a general observation about Brits. It's a known fact that living on an island messes with you brain. Just look at the japanese if you need any kind of proof.

I mean to be fair, a lot of British stereotypes are very true. Foreigners think that the “British people love grime and roadman/chav rap” generalisation is a joke, but I unironically listen to these 2 genres

The only one I disagree with is when people say stuff like “Bri’ish cuisine” and show the most abysmal looking fish chips and mushy peas I’ve seen in my entire life. I’m sure those are only sold in shit chippys in downtown Birmingham

British cuisine does a few things right, pies especially. I like haggis too. :hap:

Fish and chips, on the other hand... fried stuff with more fried stuff, that's not how cooking works. :P
